Isaiah 42:9-11
Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.
Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise from the end of the earth! You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, the islands and coastal regions and the inhabitants of them [sing a song such as has never been heard in the heathen world]!
Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voices, the villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of the rock [Sela or Petra] sing; let them shout from the tops of the mountains!

There is a beat, a step, a rhythm, a NEW SONG that Heaven is sending down to us, and we are to move in sync with it. Listen, incline your ear, do you hear it?

Praise Him from the mountain tops to the ends of the earth
Water from the Rock

Exodus 15:2

And He has become my salvation;
He is my God,
and I will praise Him; {and I will prepare him an habitation;(KJV)}
My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.

Psalm 34:1-3
I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

And let us exalt His name together.

Psalm 18:1
I love you, O LORD, my strength.

Psalm 118:14
The LORD is my strength and song ...

Nehemiah 8:10
The joy of the LORD is your strength!

Numbers 6:26     ...the LORD turn his face toward you and give
you peace.

God gives us peace—it's a gift, not a feeling that can be manufactured for
ourselves on our own. It's a gift you can receive from the Lord in spite of
the circumstances around you. In this world you will have trouble. But
take heart! Jesus Christ our Lord has overcome the world(Jn 16:33)! Jesus
has given us peace with God. Rejoice in this hope of the glory of God. He
is the Rock of habitaion to which we can continually come; He is our
refuge, our fortress. As we hope continually in Jesus, the gift of the peace
of Christ will rule our hearts, and we will praise Him more and more (Ps
71:3,14; Col 3:15). Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I say Rejoice(Phil
4:4)!

Romans 5:1-2     Therefore, since we have been justified through
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through
whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now
stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

Colossians 3:15-17     Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,
since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one
another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual
songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do,
whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving
thanks to God the Father through Him.

Thank You Lord for the gift of peace, let each of us receive this gift from
You, our Lord Jesus Christ, thru faith. Thank You that as the peace of
Christ rules our hearts we will rejoice and hope continually in Jesus, the
glory of God. Enable us to praise more and more with grateful hearts. Let
the joy of the Lord be evident as we sing His praises. Let the peace and
joy of our Lord Jesus Christ so fill us, that we abound and overflow with
hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

John 14:27     Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not
give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do
not be afraid.

Romans 15:13 AMP     May the God of your hope so fill you with
all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that
by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing
(bubbling over) with hope.

2 Thessalonians 3:16     Now may the Lord of peace Himself give
you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

Everyone has probably heard of the 'Easy Button' from the familiar commercial for an office supply company. You know, the one with the big red button with "Easy" emblazoned on it. The implication is that if things at your office are chaotic and out of control all you have to do is hit the button and life is good again.

Can Jesus really be compared to an easy button??

Take a look at these definitions for the word easy.
eas·y
1. Capable of being accomplished or done with no difficulty.
2. Requiring or exhibiting little effort or endeavor; undemanding.
3. Free from worry, anxiety, trouble, or pain.
4. Without much hardship or cost.

Is following Jesus without hardship, difficulty, pain or cost?

Matthew 7:13-14
Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Luke 13:23-24
And someone said to Him, "Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?" And He said to them, "Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able."

1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 16:24-25
Discipleship Is Costly

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it."

2 Timothy 3:12
Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

There is nothing better than experiencing His peace -- His ordained
peace!

:)
With an undivided heart let us fear His Holy name; the name of Jesus
Christ our Lord. Let us walk in His truth and way. Trust in the LORD, and
do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Pursue peace by
seeking the face of Christ thru faith in the Prince of Peace!

    Isaiah 55:6, 10-12
Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on Him while He is near.

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it
without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it
yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes
out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish
what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out
in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into
song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

The Lord is sending forth His word
Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like
showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants. --Deut 32:2

    --Job 25:2

Rejoice in the Lord, come before Him with thanksgiving in prayer
Let His praise, His words be ever ready on your lips
Let the peace of God which passes all understanding
... guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
Let His peace be established to show forth His praise!

All you have made will praise you, O LORD; your saints will extol you.
    --Ps 145:10
O Lord, open my lips, that my mouth may declare Your praise.
    --Ps 51:15

    Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness
be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but
in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your
requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

    Nehemiah 6:9-12
9For all of them were trying to frighten us, thinking, "They will become
discouraged with the work and it will not be done." But now, O God,
    strengthen my hands.

10When I entered the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah, son of
Mehetabel, who was confined at home, he said, "Let us meet together in
the house of God, within the temple, and let us close the doors of the
temple, for they are coming to kill you, and they are coming to kill you at
    night."

11But I said, "Should a man like me flee? And could one such as I
    go into
the temple to save his life? I will not go in."

12Then I perceived that surely God had not sent him, but he uttered his
prophecy against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.

Has the Lord given you a seemingly impossible task to do? Or called you
to become something which seems out of your reach? Does the enemy
    think you will give up?

Nehemiah set out to do what many thought was impossible. The enemy
was taunting and mocking him and his people, trying to discourage and
    frighten them into giving up.

Today if you are becoming discouraged with the task at hand, or there
are promises from the Lord which seem to be left unfulfilled, remember
Nehemiah. Refuse to listen to the enemy taunts and turn immediately to
    the Lord in prayer.

Believe that the Lord equips those He calls
Believe that nothing is impossible for the Lord
    Refuse to go into hiding
Pray for the Lord to strengthen you hands to do His work
Trust that He will provide all that is needed; The Lord is faithful
Trust that He will not abandon the work of His hands!

    Psalm 138:7-8
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch
forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand
will save me. The LORD will fulfil His purpose for me; Your love, O LORD,
endures for ever—do not abandon the works of Your hands.

The Lord first used this to encourage me a few years ago when I knew he was calling me to do something that was beyond me. I was crying out to Him that it was too hard and I wasn't strong enough ...

The Lord answered me with Nehemiah and told me to ask for strength.

    :)

I needed to be reminded that it wasn't by my hand or strength that the 'wall was being built'. Somehow there was so much comfort released when I prayed Nehemiah's prayer.

    And still is ...

Be encouraged and strengthen in the Lord today!

    Jeremiah 17:8
He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by

    Fear not
Do not be afraid of the coming heat or drought
You are planted by the stream
You are planted by the Lord's hand
The water from His sanctuary is ever flowing and will never run dry --Ezek 47:12
A river whose streams make glad the city of God,
... the holy place where the Most High dwells. --Ps 46:4

Those planted in the house of the LORD, flourish in the courts of our God. --Ps 92:13
Their leaves are always green and they never fail to bear fruit.

    Fear not
Spread out your root, open wide to the waters, deeply drink
Allow His dew to cover you, to saturate and refresh you in the night
Be anointed with fresh oil --Ps 92:10
An oak of righteousness, a planting of the LORD
... for the display of His splendor. --Isa 61:3
To proclaim the Lord's lovingkindness in the morning
.. And His faithfulness by night. --Ps 92:2
His glory shines with the brightness of dawn
His dew rests on you and shines as brilliant as a diamond in the light of the rising Son.

Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
    --Isa 43:1

    Isaiah 61:10-11
    I delight greatly in the LORD;
... my soul rejoices in my God.
... For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
... and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness,
... as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
... and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
For as the soil makes the sprout come up
... and a garden causes seeds to grow,
... so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise
... spring up before all nations.

    ____________________________________________________________ Shewbread
    From http://net.bible.org/dictionary.php?word=shewbread

Show bread literally "bread of the Presence", "bread of the face" or "faces." Shew-bread was unleavened bread placed upon a table which stood in the sanctuary together with the seven-branched candlestick and the altar of incense. Every Sabbath twelve newly baked loaves, representing the twelve tribes of Israel, were put on it in two rows, six in each, and sprinkled with incense, where they remained till the following Sabbath. Then they were replaced by twelve new ones, the incense was burned, and they were eaten by the priests in the holy place, out of which they might not be removed, The title "bread of the face" seems to indicate that bread through which God is seen, that is, with the participation of which the seeing of God is bound up, or through the participation of which man attains the sight of God whence it follows that we have not to think of bread merely as such as the means of nourishing the bodily life, but as spiritual food as a means of appropriating and retaining that life which consists In seeing the face of God.

25"Righteous Father, though the world does

    Romans 8:19-23
19The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be

choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21that the
creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought
into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of
childbirth right up to the present time. 23Not only so, but we ourselves,
who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for
our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.

All creation groans, in eager expectation
    Hear the cries!
    A cry of deliverance
A cry for liberty, for the freedom of the Spirit
A cry for the glory of the LORD to be fully revealed
    Reflected in unveiled faces

The cry of an orphan for full adoption

Hear the cry, the cry of your heart

    'Abba Father!'

The cry of the Son, Jesus Christ
'Abba Father! Everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet
not what I will, but what you will'

Hear the cry, the cry of your heart
From your heart, the Spirit cries

    'Abba Father!'

Let the heart cries rise, see His glory fully revealed.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is
freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are
being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which
comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
    --2 Cor 3:17-18

I will not leave You as orphans; I will come to You. --Jn 14:18

    Mark 14:32-36
32They went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples,
"Sit here while I pray." 33He took Peter, James and John along with him,
and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled. 34"My soul is
overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death," he said to them. "Stay
    here and keep watch."
35Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible
the hour might pass from him. 36"Abba, Father," he said, "everything is
possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you
    will".

    Galatians 4:1-7
1What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different
from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. 2He is subject to
guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. 3So also, when we
were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world.
4But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman,
born under law, 5to redeem those under law, that we might receive the
full rights of sons. 6Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son
into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." 7So you are no
longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also
    an heir.

Hear the cry, the cry of your heart
    'Abba Father!'

The cry of an orphan for full adoption
    The cry to remain

Remain in Me and My words remain in you.

    Remain, continue, dwell
... be held and kept, continually
    ... enduring to the last
    Abide

Let the dew of His presence rest upon the green leaves of your heart

He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by
the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
    --Jer 17:8

Dew new every morning caught in the light of the rising sun
A brilliant diamond sparkling in the light of the Son
Shining ever brighter till the full light of day. --Prov 4:18

    Abide!
    Shine!

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy
    may be complete. --Jn 15:11

    Malachi 3:16-17
Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD
gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written
before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name. "They
shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "On the day that I make them My
jewels{treasured possession}. And I will spare them as a man spares his
    own son who serves him."

His jewels glisten in HIs light! His brilliant light.

He is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like
the brightness{clear shining} after rain that brings the grass from the
    earth. --2 Sam 23:4

Wherever His jewels go His brilliant light shines
Oh the joy for the upright in heart
    Joy unspeakable
Dancing along their pathway strewn with light.

    Oh how His jewels rejoice
Rejoice greatly with joy inexpressible and full of glory.

    Abide!
    As a precious jewel!
    Remain and REJOICE!
    SHINE!

    Psalm 97:11 AMP
Light is sown for the [uncompromisingly] righteous and strewn along
their pathway, and joy for the upright in heart [the irrepressible joy which
comes from consciousness of His favor and protection].

    1 Peter 1:8
Though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not
see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy
    inexpressible and full of glory.
