Psalm 1:3
He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.

A Tree Firmly Planted
Karen Holland .. 5-30-07

Sink your roots deep, deep into the water of His word
A tree firmly planted by streams of water
Yields fruit in its season
It's leaf does not wither
Abide in Christ, drink, drink deep
Joyously draw water from the well of salvation ... (Isa 12:3)
Worship in Spirit and truth ... (John 4:23)
Under the shadow of His wings drink
Drink the living water from the fountain of life
The river of delights. ... (Ps 36:7-9)

Let the breath of the Almighty breathe ... (Isa 42:5)
Holy wind moves over the water and stirs hearts
Ruach Elohim
New life, new fruit
Sing a new song to the LORD
His praise from the ends of the earth ... (Isa 42:10)
Knowledge of the glory of the LORD will fill the earth
As the waters cover the sea
As the waters cover the sea ... (Hab 2:14)

Blind eyes opened
Prisoners set free ... (Isa 42:7)
Darkness turned into light
In His light we see ... (Ps 36:9)

Jesus Christ, our strength and song ... (Isa 12:2)
Apart from Him we can do nothing
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
Sing a new song to the LORD
Joyously worship in Spirit and truth
Drink, drink deep, deep from the well
And bear much fruit, fruit that will last. ... (John 15:16)

John 15:5,8
I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

Galatians 5:22-23
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

God's trees are well-watered— the Lebanon cedars He planted
Watered with ...
... New wine to make glad the heart
... Oil glistening to make the face shine
... The bread of His presence to uphold and sustain ... (Ps 104:15-16)
Drink, drink deep, deep from the well
Streams of living water
GOD's trees well watered
Yeilding fruit in season
He makes everything beautiful in its time ... (Ecc 3:11)
In the light of His spreading dawn.

Song 4:12-15
A garden locked is my sister, my bride,
A rock garden locked, a spring sealed up.
Your shoots are an orchard of pomegranates
With choice fruits, henna with nard plants,
Nard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon,
With all the trees of frankincense,
Myrrh and aloes, along with all the finest spices.
You are a garden spring,
A well of fresh water,
And streams flowing from Lebanon.

Proverbs 5:18-19
Let your fountain be blessed,
And rejoice in the wife of your youth.
[Lovely as an angel, beautiful as a rose]
As a loving hind and a graceful doe,
Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;
Be exhilarated [intoxicated] always with her love.

Psalm 42:1-2
As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God.
My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.

My soul thirsts for the living God -
for flowing streams of living water
for the bread of His presence
to behold His beauty
to abide in the shadow of His wings
to ever sing for joy ...

Psalm 63:2-7
I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.
Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night.
Because you are my help,
I sing in the shadow of your wings.

Psalm 5:11
But let all who take refuge in you be glad;
let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

Joyful Tree Victorious Faith

.
1 John 5:1-5
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes [that conquers] the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God[who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?
.
Victorious faith, faith that conquers, the faith of the overcomer, born of God
Child like faith, trusts in, adheres to and relies on Jesus Christ the Son of God
This is the faith that overcomes the world.
.
Victorious faith born out of the perfect love of Jesus
Perfect love that drives out all fear
The faith of the overcomer lives in love, abiding with Jesus, being made complete
Praise the LORD! Nothing can separate from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
.
Victorious faith led forth in triumphal procession in Christ
Spreading everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Jesus
The aroma of Christ
The fragrance of life
Love!
Thanks be to God!
God is love.
.
Victorious faith spring forth! Move forward by leaps and bounds!

1 John 4:7,16-18
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
.
Romans 8:37-39
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
.
2 Corinthians 2:14-16
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life.
.
Psalm 55:5-8
Fear and trembling have beset me; horror has overwhelmed me. I said, "Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest- I would flee far away and stay in the desert; I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm.
.
Isaiah 60:8
Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests [lattices/ windows]?
.
Hosea 11:10-11
They will follow the LORD; he will roar like a lion. When he roars, his children will come trembling from the west. They will come trembling like birds from Egypt, like doves from Assyria. I will settle them in their homes," declares the LORD.
.
Song 2:9-10
My lover is like a gazelle or a young stag.
Look! There he stands behind our wall,
gazing through the windows, peering through the lattice.
My lover spoke and said to me,
"Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come with me. "

Fluttering Wings, Trembling Hearts

.
A lion roars
Do you hear the sound?
Fluttering, fluttering wings
Doves like a cloud, flying
Feathers beating
Hearts trembling, pounding
The sound of a mighty rushing wind
Fluttering, flying like a cloud
All the wings and feathers, hearts beating together as one ....
.
Oh! That I had the wings of a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest
I would hurry to my place of shelter
Far from the tempest and storm
A place prepared by the Father's hand
A house with many rooms.
.
Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!
I would fly with beating wings and pounding heart
I would fly into His open arms
The arms of the Bridegroom
Waiting expectantly, waiting to still tremblimg hearts
Waiting to tenderly, gently enfold and embrace His dove at last.
.
With the wings of a dove I will fly
With trembling heart
Into His waiting arms
.
Hearts stilled
At peace, at rest
Beating together as one ...
.
.
.
John 14:1-4,6
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."
.
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life."
.
Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision is yet for the appointed time;
It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail
Though it tarries, wait for it;
For it will certainly come, it will not delay.
.
Wait expectantly for the LORD, keep watch (Micah 7:7)
.
Let us acknowledge the LORD;
Let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
He will appear ... (Hos 6:3)

Ephesians 6:10
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

.
Notice that Paul does not teach to ask the Lord for strength. He says, "Be strong in the Lord." It is only when we have faith in God that we have strength. It's His mighty power that does the work.
.
So if it is the Lord who makes us holy and strong, what do we have to do?
.
Surrender all to Christ, trust and obey!
.
John 14:21
Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.
.
Philippians 4:13
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
.

Be strong in the LORD
Stand in His power
Stand on the Rock, the Rock eternal
.
Do not trust mankind or your own might
Trust in the LORD forever
Be strong and courageous
Do not be afraid or dismayed
Against us is only an arm of flesh
Greater is He, Immanuel, that is with us
The LORD our God
King of Glory
Mighty in battle
.
Be strong in the LORD
Stand in His power
Surrender all to trust and obey
Fix your heart on Jesus, do not turn away
Trust in the LORD forever
For the LORD, the LORD is the Rock Eternal
.
Be held in His perfect peace.

Jeremiah 17:5
Thus says the LORD:
“ Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the LORD.

.

2 Chronicles 32:7-8
“Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

.

Isaiah 26:3-4
You will keep in perfect peace
him whose mind is steadfast,
because he trusts in you.
Trust in the LORD forever,
for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.

Zechariah 1:7-10
On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah the prophet, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, as follows:
I saw at night, and behold, a man was riding on a red horse, and he was standing among the myrtle trees which were in the ravine, with red, sorrel and white horses behind him.
Then I said, "My lord, what are these?" And the angel who was speaking with me said to me, "I will show you what these are."
And the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered and said, "These are those whom the LORD has sent to patrol the earth."

.

.
Isaiah 55:12-13
You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace;
... the mountains and hills will burst into song before you,
... and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
Instead of the thornbush will grow the pine tree,
... and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.
This will be for the LORD's renown,
... for an everlasting sign,
... which will not be destroyed.

.
1 Chronicles 16:31-34
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
... let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!"
Let the sea resound, and all that is in it;
... let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!
Then the trees of the forest will sing,
... they will sing for joy before the LORD,
... for he comes to judge the earth.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
... his love endures forever.

.
Isaiah 61:1-3 (Amplified Bible)
THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion--to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit--that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
.
Isaiah 61:10-11 (Message)
I will sing for joy in God,
explode in praise from deep in my soul!
He dressed me up in a suit of salvation,
he outfitted me in a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom who puts on a tuxedo
and a bride a jeweled tiara.
For as the earth bursts with spring wildflowers,
and as a garden cascades with blossoms,
So the Master, God, brings righteousness into full bloom
and puts praise on display before the nations.
.

Behold A Red Horse
.
Behold a red horse
Standing among the trees, the plantings of the LORD
A sweet scent spreading
The army of the LORD building amidst the mrytle blossoms
Planted, being positioned for a time such as this
A time when the Master brings righteousness into full bloom
A triumphal procession in Christ
Going out in joy, led forth in peace
The mountains and hills burst into song
And the trees of the field clap their hands
The heavens rejoice, the earth is glad
Let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!"
Everywhere the fragrance of Christ is spread
Hearts mended and captives set free
The earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD,
As the waters cover the sea ... (Hab 2:14)
.
And the trees of the field clap their hands
The heavens rejoice, the earth is glad
Let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!"
.
PRAISE THE LORD! May the whole earth be filled with His glory!
Amen and Amen. ... (Ps 72:19)

2 Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.
Hadassah is Esther’s Jewish name and means “Flowering Myrtle Tree”...

I see Esther arising to touch the tip of the golden scepter --
extended by the King's hand ...

Righteousness the scepter of the kingdom ...

***

Righteousness the Scepter

Arise, army of God, go up the mountain, come before the King
You have been planted, prepared, purified, postioned for such a time as this
The King bestows honor and favor
The King withholds no good thing from those whose walk is blameless
Arise approach the King
The golden scepter is extended
Come touch the tip
The mighty scepter will be extended from Zion
You will rule in the midst of your enemies
Anointed with the oil of joy
Preach good news to the poor
Bind up the brokenhearted
Proclaim freedom and release from darkness for the captives
Proclaim the year of the LORD's favor ... (Isa 61:1-3)

Arise, army of God, approach the King
The golden scepter is extended
Come touch the tip
Be anointed with the oil of joy
For such a time as this ....

Esther 4:14
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?

Proverbs 22:11
He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend.

Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

Esther 5:1
On the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the palace, in front of the king's hall. The king was sitting on his royal throne in the hall, facing the entrance. When he saw Queen Esther standing in the court, he was pleased with her and held out to her the gold scepter that was in his hand. So Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter.

Psalm 110:2
The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies.

Hebrews 1:8-9
But about the Son he says,
"Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever,
and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy."
