Banner

Perfect love is a fresh wind blowing upon this work. God has a standing army. Prayer is influence. Fear removed. People of God are filled with the awareness of the deep stirring. God sends joy. Eyes lifted up, seek his face. Worship assaults the gates of hell. You strike a regional and global blow. This is Zion’s March. Knock and the gates of heaven open. This is timely. It is your turn of repentance. It is the front line of battle. Freedom song is love displayed. The banner is soaked with oil. You are the apple of God’s affection. This is God’s chosen rise in the river where the water spills over the banks. Ears and eyes have yet to see this awakened revelation of what is here. Benefits are blessings poured out for others without a thought for yourself. Faith’s fact is victory. The icy affliction melts because of your praise. God is here. Alive! Glory truth is God’s delight. Word! God speaks with embracing grace. He says “you are mine.” He has you before and behind.

Psalm 57:7-9
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast;
I will sing praises and make music.
Awake, my soul {my glory}! Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.
I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples;
        I will sing praises to You among the nations.

Psalm 119:147
I rise before dawn, before the sun is up and cry for help;
I have put my hope in your word.

Rise up before dawn and hope.
Awake, shout and dance for joy,
... for your dew is as the dew of the dawn --Isa 26:19
Awake, awake, clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion --Isa 52:1
Clothe yourself in the garment of praise --Isa 61:3
Trust in the Lord, hope in His word.

Shout! Clap you hands
Sound the trumpet
Praise the Lord
Sing His praise before the nations
Awake the dawn.

With the voice of triumph
Lift up your heads, O you gates
Be lifted up, you ancient doors --Ps 24:7
Behold, the King of glory quickly comes --Rev 3:11
His glory fills the temple
Hold fast

Shout! Clap you hands
Sound the trumpet
Praise the Lord with the voice of triumph
Awake the dawn.

Psalm 47:1-2(NKJV)

Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of
triumph! For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all
the earth.

Pondering your words has really blessed me -- look how praise, raising a
banner and awakening the dawn are linked with the bright morning star!
:)
Thank you.

2 Peter 1:19
So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to
pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns
and the morning star arises in your hearts.

Revelation 22:16
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I
am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

The bright morning star appears in the sky, as the dawn of the new day
approaches. It is a sure sign that the sunrise is near and dawn is
awakening.

Revelation 2:26-28
To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give
authority over the nations— 'He will rule them with an iron scepter; he
will dash them to pieces like pottery'— just as I have received authority
from my Father. I will also give him the morning star.

Hold fast
Praise the Lord with the voice of triumph
Awake the dawn
Look for the bright morning star.

Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. Raise the banner, ride the flow

Let the triumph of praise be heard
Join the wave, ride the flow!

Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.

The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is majestic.

The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;
the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,
Sirion like a young wild ox.

The voice of the LORD strikes
with flashes of lightning.

The voice of the LORD shakes the desert;
the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh.

The voice of the LORD twists the oaks

The LORD gives strength to his people;
the LORD blesses his people with peace.

Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Revelation 15:1-5
I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the
seven last plagues—last, because with them God's wrath is completed.
And I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire and, standing
beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and his
image and over the number of his name. They held harps given them by
God and sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the
Lamb:
"Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty.
Just and true are your ways, King of the ages.
Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you
alone are holy.
All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have
been revealed."

After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of
the testimony in heaven was opened wide.

Look what happens here after the song of the Lamb is sung. The
tabernacle of the testimony is opened wide. A similar thing happens in
Isaiah 6:4 after worship, At the sound of their voices the doorposts moved
and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. And
again in Revelation 19:10 worship is linked with the testimony of Jesus,
Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

As we praise Jesus Christ our Lord, we lift Him up as our banner, the light
of the world -- for all to see. Worshipping the Lord opens a door, the
testimony of Jesus, that many may see and behold the King to declare His
praise! This allows Jesus to draw all men unto Him.

John 12:32 But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all
men to myself.

Fear the Lord alone
Come bow before Him, fall at His feet in worship and praise --Rev 4:10
Sing a new song, a song of the Lamb

A door opened for all to see --Isa 6:4
Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. --Ps 40:3
The King of the ages revealed.

Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. --Rev
19:10

The tent of the testimony opened wide
See the King
Do only what you see the Father doing --Jn 5:19
Hear the testimony of Jesus
Speak only what you are given, sing a new song --Ps 40:3
A song of the Lamb, following wherever He leads --Rev 14:4
That Jesus may be lifted up
A banner, the light of the world, for all to see --Jn 12:32, Isa 11:10
That the nations will be drawn unto Him and His way be known.

Who will not fear You, O Lord, and bring glory to Your name?
For You alone are holy. --Rev 15:4
Who will not come and bow down to worship before You, O Lord?
Let the nations be drawn singing for joy
Let the nations be glad.

Let the peoples praise You, God; let all the peoples praise You!
Then the earth will give her harvest [showing His favor] -God, our God,
blesses us!
God blesses us, that they may fear Him to the ends of the earth. --Ps

**It is thought that king David used to carry psalm 67 in the shape of the
menorah engraved on his Shield.

Psalm 67 The Psalm of the Menorah
{For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.}

..................................... 1 God - may He bless and favor us,
..................................... may He shine His face on us. - Selah
......................... 2 That on earth Your Way be known,
......................... and in all nations - Your Salvation!
............... 3 Let the peoples praise You, God;
............... let all the peoples praise You.
4 May nations be glad and sing for joy,
for You judge the peoples justly,
You guide the nations of the earth. - Selah
............... 5 Let the peoples praise You, God;
............... let all the peoples praise You
........................ 6 Then the earth will give her harvest [showing His favor]
.......................... God, our God, blesses us!
...................................... 7 God blesses us,
...................................... that they may fear Him to the ends of the earth.

Psalm 67 - The Psalm of the Menorah
The psalmist prays for God’s blessing upon His people and urges the
nations to praise Him for He is the just ruler of the world. When God
demonstrates His favor to His people, all nations will recognize His
character as a God who delivers. This will have an impact on the whole
earth and cause the nations to praise the LORD!

Psalm 67 is known as "The psalm of the Menorah." Many times, its words
have been written in the shape of the seven branched menorah and has
been incorporated into many plaques whose themes contain the words
"I have set the Lord before me always" --Ps 16:18.

In the original Hebrew text of Psalm 67 there are 8 verses. The first verse
is the heading for the Psalm and is not numbered in most translations.
The remaining seven verses reflect an exquisite poetic structure that is
balanced in some intriguing ways.

When this Psalm is rotated 90 degrees to the left (or if you tilt your head
to the right), you will see an obviously intentional graphic representation
of the Menorah, the lamp stand which stood in the Temple in Jerusalem.

Do you see any parallels between vvs. 1 & 7? vvs. 2 & 6? vvs. 3 & 5?

A picture of the menorah is also seen in the below verse.

Isaiah 11:1-5, 10-12
1 A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
2 The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of power,
the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD -
3 and he will delight in the fear of the LORD.
He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,
or decide by what he hears with his ears;
4 but with righteousness he will judge the needy,
with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;
with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
5 Righteousness will be his belt
and faithfulness the sash around his waist.

10 In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples;
the nations will rally to him, and his place of rest will be glorious.
11 In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim
the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt,
from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath
and from the islands of the sea.
12 He will raise a banner for the nations
and gather the exiles of Israel;
He will assemble the scattered people of Judah
from the four quarters of the earth.

A Menorah has a central staff that parallels this word, "the Spirit of the
Lord will rest upon him." Linked to that central staff are three pairs of
lightholders. These correspond to what we have in this passage. "The
spirit of wisdom and of knowledge, or understanding," are linked
together; likewise the "spirit of counsel and of might," and the "spirit of
the knowledge of the Lord and the spirit of the fear of the Lord." Thus,
they are illustrated by the Jewish symbol of the Menorah, the candlestick
that burned in the tabernacle throughout the centuries.

..................................... The Spirit of knowledge
......................... The Spirit of counsel
............... The Spirit of wisdom
The Spirit of the LORD
will rest on Him—
............... The Spirit of understanding
.......................... The Spirit of power
...................................... The Spirit of the fear of the LORD

It is significant that here in Isaiah 11 the Root of Jesse stands as a banner
for His people. Here the Messiah is linked to a picture of the menorah and
the seven Spirits of the Lord!

Revelation 4:5
Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of
thunder And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne,
which are the seven Spirits of God;

Revelation 5:6
Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center
of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He
had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent
out into all the earth.

It should be no surprise that this leads to the center of the throne -- the
center of worship -- to where the slain Lamb is standing!. It is also
significant that Psalm 67 has the same theme as the 'Song of the Lamb'.

Revelation 15:3-4
... the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb:
"Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty.
Just and true are your ways, King of the ages.
Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name?
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come and worship before you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed."

As we praise the Lord and lift up Jesus Christ our Lord, we lift up Him up
as our banner, a standard of praise, the light of the world -- for all to
see. It is promised --

John 12:32
But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.

Psalm 67:5-7
Let the peoples praise You, God; let all the peoples praise You! Then the
earth will give her harvest [showing His favor] -God, our God, blesses us!
God blesses us, that they may fear Him to the ends of the earth.

1 Thess 5:16-18
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for
this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus!

Psalm 63:1
O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.

Do you find yourself in an impossible situation? Seemingly overwhelmed on all sides -- stuck -- unable to move forward?

Seek His face early
Praise the LORD. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise Him! --Ps 147:1
Rejoice with the rising light of dawn in the morning
For joy comes in the morning! --Ps 30:5

Ask His direction
Seek His word, His wisdom --Ja 1:5
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. --Prov 8:17

For He sends forth His word to those who ask
To those who thirst for Him
As a desert thirsts for His rain
He causes His wind to blow
His breath to breathe
The living waters will flow
With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. --Isa 12:3
Your thirsty soul will be satisifed, set free!

Psalm 90:14
Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

Psalm 147:15-18
He sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly.
He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.
He casts forth His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold?
He sends forth His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow {His breath to breathe} and the waters to flow.

Psalm 143:8, 10
Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul. .... Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. {in divine blessing & protection}

Ephesians 5:19-20
Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and
make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the
Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord
Voices lifted together, a sweet melody in one accord
Precious oil running down, poured forth
A fragrant perfume fills the whole house --Jn 12:3
Anonited with the oil of joy forevermore.

A strong melody lingers
Jesus my strength my song
The everlasting King immortal!

Exodus 15:2
The LORD is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation;
He is my God,
and I will praise Him; {and I will prepare him an habitation;(KJV)}
My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

Psalm 133
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
        For brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil upon the head,
        Running down on the beard,
        The beard of Aaron,
        Running down on the edge of his garments.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon,
        Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
        For there the LORD commanded the blessing—
        Life forevermore.

Isaiah 48:10
Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have *tested you in the
furnace of affliction.

From http://net.bible.org/verse.php?book=Isa&chapter=48&verse=10

*tested {0977}
1) to choose, elect, decide for
1a) (Qal) to choose
1b) (Niphal) to be chosen
1c) (Pual) to be chosen, selected
a primitive root; properly, to try, i.e. (by implication)
select:-acceptable, appoint, choose (choice), excellent,

Are you being tested in the furnace of affliction? Is the heat turned up 7
times hotter? This thought is comforting, it is in the furnace that you are
chosen and refined. Take heart -- you are not only chosen in the fire,
King of Glory walks with you thru it (Dan 3:25)! Yes walks !

These (trials) have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold,
which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and
may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
--1 Pe 1:7

Refined faith
Steadfast, tried, tested, proven
Of greater worth than the purest of gold.

Even though refined by fire
Gold perishes.

Genuine proven faith remains ... (1 Cor 13:13)
Hold fast to your faith ... (Heb 10:19-23)

Fear not!
Follow Jesus, stay close, follow hard (Ps 63:7-8)
Place your feet within His footsteps

You will not be burned, the flames will not set you ablaze
For He, Immanuel, the King of Glory is with you
He will help you walk thru the fire
You will come forth as gold, pure refined gold
For you are redeemed by His hand
He has chosen you
He has summoned you by name.

Isaiah 43:1-2
But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel:
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Job 23:11-12, 10
My feet have closely followed his steps;
I have kept to his way without turning aside.
I have not departed from the commands of his lips;
I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.
He knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth
as gold.

Jesus You are
... the Alpha and Omega
... the Beginning and the End
... the First and the Last.

Jesus You go before
... You prepare the Way.

Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low;
the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.
And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will
see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken. --Isa 40:4-5

Stand at the crossroads and look;
Ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is,
and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. --Jere 6:16

... Name above all names.

Zechariah 14:9     And the LORD shall be king over all the earth:

You must stand, look and ask for the ancient paths,
i.e., the path the Lord set out (prepared) in ancient times.

Stand {05975}

2 Chronicles 5:13

The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give
praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and
other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and
sang: "He is good; his love endures forever." Then the temple of the LORD
was filled with a cloud.

Proverbs 16:15
In the light of the king's countenance {face} is life; and His favour is as a
cloud of the latter rain.

The King's rain is associated with life and His favor.

From http://net.bible.org/verse.php?book=Pro&chapter=16&verse=15

* “the light of the face of the king.” This expression is a way of describing
the king’s brightened face, his delight in what is taking place. This would
mean life for those around him.

* “latter rain” (so KJV, ASV). The favor that this expression represents is
now compared to the cloud of rain that comes with the “latter” rain or
harvest rain. The point is that the rain cloud was necessary for the
successful harvest; likewise the king’s pleasure will ensure the success
and the productivity of the people under him. E.g., also Psalm 72:15-17;
the prosperity of the land is portrayed as a blessing on account of the
ideal king.

Proverbs 16:15 NLT
When the king smiles, there is life; His favor refreshes like a gentle
rain.

The King's rain is associated with life and His favor; His smile.

Psalm 72:15-19
Long may He {the King} live!
... May gold from Sheba be given Him.
... May people ever pray for Him and bless Him all day long.
Let grain abound throughout the land;
... on the tops of the hills may it sway.
... Let its fruit flourish like Lebanon; let it thrive like the grass of the field.
May His name endure forever;
... may it continue as long as the sun.
... All nations will be blessed through Him, and they will call Him blessed.
Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel,
... who alone does marvelous deeds.
Praise be to His glorious name forever;
... may the whole earth be filled with His glory.
Amen and Amen.

Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness
Drink in His presence
Drink from His glory cloud
Drink in His rain

See the King's favor
See the King's smile
See the successful harvest

Drink in His reign.

Job 29:23 NIV
They waited for me as for showers and drank in my words as the spring
rain.

Job 29:23 NASB
They waited for me as for the rain, and opened their mouth as for the
spring rain.

Never Give UP!

No matter how barren or cold it appears --

Spring always comes after the winter ...

Song 2

10 My lover spoke and said to me,
"Arise, my darling,
my beautiful one, and come with me.

11 See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.

12 Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land."

Pamela Helmick

Do not fear my belove for Spring is almost here and winter is almost over. You will hear the birds sing love songs again, and see the flowers again and smell them. New life will come to you, and resurrection power. New love will come to you once again.

You will smell the roses again and feel the warmth of the sunshine upon your back. New life is coming to you, resurrection power is coming to you and the stone is rolling away. Winter is almost over. Cheer up do not be discourage about the winter. For your Spirtual season of winter is almost over and life and joy and happiness will come back to you. You will run though the fields laughing and rejoicing.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is
liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory
of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to
glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

John 1:14
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory,
glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Behold the glory of the LORD
See the Lord Jesus Christ in our midst
See the King, full of grace and truth.

Receive the King
Let Him dwell in our midst.

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching
and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. --Col 3:16

Become full of His truth and grace.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were
called in one body; and be thankful. --Col 3:15

Be transformed from glory to glory
Reflect the King's glory
Full of His grace AND truth.

John 14:6

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to
the Father except through me."

The word of the Lord stands forever --1 Pe 1:25
His truth and grace are eternal.

And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, that all the
peoples, nations and men of every language might serve Him. His
dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; And His
kingdom is one which will never be destroyed! --Dan 7:14

Isaiah 60:19-20
No longer will you need the sun or moon to give you light, for the LORD your God will be your everlasting light, and he will be your glory {the splendor of your God will shine upon you}. Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your time of sorrow will end.

The King's glory
Full of grace and truth
Behold Him
Let the splendor of your God shine upon you!

Psalm 103:1-5
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
... And all that is within me, bless His Holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
... and forget not all his benefits-
3 Who forgives all your sins
... and heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from the pit
... and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 Who satisfies your desires with good things
... so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Bless the LORD, Oh my soul
And all that is within me
Bless His Holy name

I was singing and praising the LORD with the above song this morning --
when I was finished I was prompted to look up the associated scripture.
:)
Notice vs4 He crowns you with love and compassion! This is what I was
feeling as I was praising the LORD with my whole being. I was
surrounded, engulfed in His presence, in His love and compassion. Lifted
to His throne as if on eagle's wings (--Isa 40:31). I didn't however
connect this with being crowned.

Investigating vs4 a little more in the NetBible
http://net.bible.org/verse.php?book=Psa&chapter=103&verse=4

I love how the MSG version reads:

He redeems you from hell--saves your life! He crowns you with love and
mercy--a paradise crown.

A paradise crown!!! The crown of life -- eternal life.

Looking further at the footnotes:
Psalms 16:10, 30:9, 49:9, 55:24
You will not abandon me to Sheol;
you will not allow your faithful follower to see the Pit.

What profit is there in taking my life, in my descending into the Pit?
Can the dust of the grave praise you? Can it declare your loyalty?

so that he might continue to live forever and not experience death.

For the music director, to be accompanied by stringed instruments;
a well-written song by David.
Listen, O God, to my prayer! Do not ignore my appeal for mercy!

Bless the LORD
With your whole heart
With your whole innermost being
With your whole soul
With all that is within you
Bless His Holy name!

Come out of darkness into His marvelous light
Praise and Trust in the LORD
On the wings of an eagle soar
Be lifted higher and higher by His mercy and grace
His face, what a beautiful sight.

Remain faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ
Hold fast and endure thru the night --Ja 1:12
So that no one will take your crown --Rev 3:11
A paradise crown
The crown of eternal life.

Remain faithful, hold fast
To receive your paradise crown
That you might forever declare the praises of the King
To bless the Holy One
Jesus Christ God's own Son.

1 Peter 2:9-10

You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people
belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called
you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people,
but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but
now you have received mercy.

YES WE ARE! HE IS HIGH AND LIFTED UP!!! \o/\o/\o/   Sister Karen, as I

ALL ABOUT OUR MAJESTIC REDEEMER, CHRIST JESUS THE KING!!! I PRAISE

MY SOUL!        & nbsp; Love you ALL-prayin' &

What a wonderful idea -- what wonderful love! The crown of thorns for
this crown of steadfast love, mercy & compassion.

Psalm 27:13-14
I am still confident of this:
{I would have lost heart , unless I had believed}
I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD.

Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that
prevails. {the Lord with a sure plan gives correct counsel.}

Has the LORD given you a promise that seems impossible to believe?
Impossible to 'see' in the natural?

Genesis 17:17
Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, "Will a son be
born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of
ninety?"

Take heart
BELIEVE
Don't give up
Wait on the LORD
Ask for the 'eyes' of faith
Eyes to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

For He who has promised is faithful
ALL His promises are true
All His promises are sure
His plan always prevails.

Hebrews 11:11-12
By faith Abraham, even though he was past age—and Sarah herself was
barren—was enabled to become a father because he considered Him
faithful who had made the promise. And so from this one man, and he as
good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and
as countless as the sand on the seashore.

Hebrews 10:19-23
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy
Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us
through the curtain, that is, His body, and since we have a great priest
over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full
assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty
conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold
unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is
faithful.

Hebrews 11:1 AMP
NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for,
being the proof of things [we] do not see and
the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Ask for the 'eyes' of faith!

Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Psalm 123:1-3
Unto You I lift up my eyes,
... O You who dwell {are enthroned} in the heavens.
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters,
... As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,
... So our eyes look to the LORD our God,
... Until He has mercy on us.
Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us!

Lift up your eyes of faith
To the One and Only who is enthroned in the heavens
Behold as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters
Behold as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress
Wait upon the LORD our God with the eyes of faith.

Watch and wait ..

Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; in unison they sing for joy, for they shall see eye to eye when the LORD brings back Zion. --Isa 52:8

Lift up your eyes of faith
Seek His Way, His face
Lift up your voice, in unison sing for joy
Behold the eyes of the King of Glory!
Behold His mercy and grace!

Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; O LORD, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. --Ps 130:1-2

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I put my hope. My soul waits for the LORD more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. --Ps 130:5-6

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay. --Hab 2:3

Lift up your eyes of faith
Sing for joy
Watch and wait ...
See eye to eye ...
