New York World Trade Center Towers
The Eagle Wakes

A bomb explodes beneath a tower
It shakes and burns but does not fall

A thousand hurt, a few dead
The Eagle stirs but does not wake

Two bombs explode at once
Two embassies destroyed
Five thousand hurt, two hundred dead
The Eagle stirs but does not wake

A boat explodes in a foreign port
A hole is blown in a warship
Many hurt, seventeen dead
The Eagle stirs but does not wake

Four planes crash
Two towers fall
Thousands hurt, thousands killed
The Eagle Screams, its now awake

The Eagle now hunts its Prey
It sharpens its claws and gathers its Flock
Evil men will run in fear
For the Eagle won't sleep again

(unknown, "The Lion Wakes")
