Judo
is the most highly organized and structured martial art in the world.
As part of this structure the Huntsville Judo Club enables athletes to
reach their desired level of participation from simple recreation to
the Olympic games.
Judo is a
fun sport, an art, a discipline, a recreational or social activity, a
fitness program, a means of self-defense or combat.

Our main
objectives are:
to promote physical fitness,
self-confidence,
self-defense,
respect
and to be part of a positive environment.
Judo is for everyone: men, women, boys and girls. In fact, it is a
sport the entire family can enjoy together. The type of participation
and intensity is entirely up to you. Your commitment can range from
casual easy-going recreation to formal competition, to the excitement
and challenge of world competition. The choice is yours.
Best all round exercise - JUDO works on all muscle groups and provides
excellent anaerobic and aerobic training. Judo is a complete exercise
and promotes both physical and mental health. Judo develops strength,
conditioning, co-ordination, balance and mental health.
