Why Women Should Hate "Popstars" and the "Girl Group" The Show Produced
First off- Is it just me, or do all the girls from popstars look hispanic? I'm wondering what's up with that, because they are all exact clones of each other, and for what I can tell, a number of them, if not all of them, are hispanic, and I find it kind of odd. I know I talked about these girls before in an ealier article, but I'm sitting here watching MTV and these girls pop on with their video. Good God, can we just say sluts a few times, please? I thought Britney Spears was taking it off, but geez! These girls are all half naked and writhing all over the screen, and in the one scene the girl with the HUGE hair is wearing what looks like hooker makeup and a TINY bikini top. What is the deal with people? Is there no shame? Don't people have any pride? The last I would ever want is to become "famous" with a bunch of 14 year old girls who want to be half naked and "sexy" like me. Don't these immature little girls know that they are pawns for then rich white guys who probably produced the show and gave them a record deal and everything else? The sole purpose of this group, whether you want to admit it or not, is for these girls to be in music videos as naked as possible. They are sex objects and nothing else. I mean, I'm sorry, but any girl who bawls like a baby because she got a chance to sing in front of a group of 11 year old girls, is clearly out of it anyhow, and you can bet she's not one to be known for her brains. That's a simple fact, but most of you will probablt disagree, and that's ok, because I'm right, and you're wrong. All kidding aside, this is not what mature responsible women should want for themselves, and it makes me sick to see so many women being used like this. That's why men control most everything. I'm not sexist like that, but let's face it...men are hardly in the position to be used by women like this, and until that changes, women won't go as far as they can, and as long as stupid young girls like this make women in general look bad, then things are going to stay the way they are. I think women should be upset with this sort of thing, and I would think there would be some sort of outcry. You might think I'm making too much of this, but I disagree...this is why women are used by men, and women must LOVE is, because if they didn't, they'd smack these ignorant girls upside the head, and tell them to shut the hell up, because they're making ALL women look bad. And put on some damned clothes you no talent hussies.
