About Catherine Willows:
CSI Level 3
Catherine is a great member of the team. She has a lot of motherly instincts, mainly because of her young daughter, and probably somewhat due to her troubles with her ex husband. She becomes very passionate about a lot of cases, especially those dealing with children. A lot of people think her and Gil have a thing going on, but I don't think so. She does seem to have a really close bond with Grissom, and no telling what they really feel, but I doubt it's love in the way some think. It seems Catherine works a lot with Gil, and also a lot with Stokes. Her dedication and passion add nothing but great things to the team.

Marg Helgenberger is a recognized actress who has appeared in many films and television series. She attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois (birthplace of William Petersen), and is married to actor Alan Rosenberg. She is busy making movies to this date, she appeared in the recent hit movie, Erin Brockovich as the parent of a dying child.
