Though not as closely watched as the film categories, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association also hands out kudos for TV. This year, rookies ruled, as Fox's 24, ABC's Alias and HBO's Six Feet Under joined C.S.I., The West Wing and The Sopranos for best TV drama. Alias star Jennifer Garner also received a nod for Best Actress in a drama, joining Lorraine Bracco and Edie Falco for The Sopranos, Lauren Graham for Gilmore Girls, Amy Brenneman for Judging Amy, Sela Ward for Once and Again and Marg Helgenberger for C.S.I..
