You may have noticed the site has been down a lot lately due to excessive bandwidth usage from angelfire. I deleted some of my other websites, so the site should stay up now...atleast, I hope. In a month or so, I will switching all my sites, including the CSI Site here to a new domain and a new host, etc..the new CSI SITE URL will be : http://www.joshuabozeman.com/csi - so keep an eye out for that. I will keep this page here on angelfire and let everyone know the page has moved, so you will have time to update links if you have a csi site that is linked to mine or your favorite places if you frequent the site.
I bought a tv tuner card, so anything I see anything CSI related or related to the stars, I will try to get pictures of it. I have been really busy with a new job lately, so I have missed some CSI episodes, and I haven't updated much on the site overall. I will soon tho. I promise!

HERE ARE TWO NEWS STORIES FROM E! THEY ARE KIND OF LATE, BUT I THOUGHT I WOULD ADD THEM ANYHOW
In an episode called "The Stalker," a woman is murdered, and suspicion first points to her jilted boyfriend. But a psychic's interpretation leads them to evidence of a Peeping Tom culprit. Nick is injured (but not seriously) when he attempts to catch the person. It turns out to be a man who has been stalking...Nick. The man who installed his satellite television way back has been obsessed with him for ages, even breaking into his house to steal his clothes.
What's the deal with the new C.S.I.?

Serial killer Paul Millander (Matt O'Toole) reappears to claim a third victim, and further haunt Grissom (William Petersen) in this gripping episode.
The latest slaying matches Millander's previous killings in that it recreates his father's murder, which Millander witnessed as a boy. In each case, the victim is shot once through the chest while lying in a bathtub. A nearby tape recorder contains the person's supposed suicide message. All three victims share the same birthday of Aug. 17- the date Millander's father was slain- with years in descending order from 1959. So presumably, the killer's next target was born on Aug. 17, 1956...which just happens to be Grissom's's birthday. (1:00)

December 25, 2001 - I was watching the HBO series, PROJECT GREENLIGHT, and the movie they are making was going to star Marg Helgenberger, but she turned them down right before shooting. I think they had her as a last choice, and she wasn't happy with that. I don't blame her! I just thought I would mention this...it is news afterall.

I have been working on moving the entire site over to the new angelfire.com URL, so news has been hard to update lately. Here is one item, and I will probably add a few more news items tonight:
(1) CSI has been nominated for the best drama series for the Golden Globe Awards. I heard the news on National Public Radio, but will find news online and add it soon.
In the December 22-28 issue of TV Guide (www.tvguide.com), CSI is listed as one of the best dramas of 2001. This is what TV Guide has to say about the show:
"You don't need a highfalutin high- tech microscope to discover why CBS's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation reigns above all the other detective or law melodramas. (Besides, how stale are Law & Order and The Practice these days?) Last week's episode of ER took the number one spot in the ratings- CSI did horrible, and came in 10th place in total households, beaten out by the following: ER, Friends, Law and Order, Everybody Loves Raymond, Will and Grace, The West Wing, Just Shoot Me, the Sunday Night Movie, and a second episode of Will and Grace!!

For some reason, some of the news items are mysteriously missing from this page...so, I will just summarize:
Marg did not win the Emmy she was up for. The awards were finally held after 2 delays.
The entertainment show EXTRA features a different CSI cast member every week usually. In the past month, Gary Dourdan and Jorja Fox have been featured, along with a story about Gris and the dominatrix mistress chick from Slaves of Las Vegas.
The ratings have been climbing, breaking CSI's records for total number of viewers. CSI has been coming out in the top 3 every week, sometimes even beating Friends in total number of viewers.
There have been a few items of note in the tabloid magazines about the CSI cast. I don't get any of these magazines, nor do I ever pay attention to them, but I thought I'd mention it atleast.
As far as I can tell, there are some new members to the production staff (a new director, for example.) Someday, I will add a production staff section to the site.
This site itself has been exploding with visitors. I added a few small banners and buttons to the site (if the popup window is too annoying, e- mail me, and if too many people have a problem with it, I might take it off.) ...but there are only a very small number of people actually visiting the site thru the banner.
I have started a new CSI group/mailing list on Yahoo! After only a few weeks, there are (as of right now) 61 members. I have added summaries to some of the episodes from this season, plus I will add more stuff soon (sound clips, pictures, and more.) You can also see what episode airs on what day in the calendar section.
I added a couple of new sections: CSI Books, CSI Fan Fiction by April, and some other small items.

I watched The Late Show with David Letterman tonight, because Marg Helgenberger was scheduled to appear. She was not on. Instead, Dave had Bryant Gumble, Denis Leary, and music guest- Tori Amos. I will keep an out eye on the news and the show itself to see if and when Marg will appear.
I mentioned before that the Emmys have been rescheduled for October 7, but I never mentioned the fact that the show will be more subdued. The producer of the show says the show will have a completely different tone than ever before. It will be much more lowkey and respectful to those who died, were injured, and those who lost family members. Find more information at the official Emmy site. www.emmys.com
There is supposedly a C.S.I. novel coming out in the next couple of months (based on the show) by a mystery writer named Max Collins. I have searched Barnes and Noble's site as well as Amazon.com but found no word on it. I will add more information as I get it. Thanks to the CSI list for this information.
According to Yahoo News, the producers and writers of CSI were planning an episode where a crazed gambler crashes a cessna into a Vegas casino, but due to the recent terrorists attacks, those plans have been scrapped. CLICK HERE for more.

I was watching PBS Lifelong Learning tonight and they showed CSI's interactive aspects on webtv and Ultimate TV on the show Computer Chronicles (www.computerchronicles.org) CSI, as you may already know was one of the first primetime dramas to add interactive features to the show with the special set- top boxes. There is an old news story about this somewhere down below...but I can't find it as of yet. Too many news stories!!

Late word in today- various reports have stated that CBS plans on starting their new fall season on September 24, which means the second season premiere of CSI will, of course, be pushed back to a later date.
CSI did not air tonight (Episode: Blood Drops) due to news coverage on CBS.

According to various news reports, the Emmy Awards have been rescheduled and will air one week late on Sunday, September 23, 2001. However, there is no news of that on the official EMMY website, so it's not concrete as of yet. I will be on the lookout for confirmation.

June 22, 2001 -- Someone asked what type of CD player shelf system Grissom had in the episode STRIP STRANGLER on the message board here. I don't think anyone found the answer, and I couldn't find it either. I looked thru my latest Crutchfield catalog, but it had very few shefl systems in this "issue." Anyhow, since I want to help all I can, I thought I'd recommend going to their site online and either browsing the systems on the site, or ordering a free catalog for yourself. May 20, 2001 -- I have added the Jerry Bruckheimer page. I will be adding content to it constantly.
May 19, 2001 -- I have added the Strip Strangler episode page, with all the pictures I have from the episode. (Thanks to Tracylyn- again) and I have the short summary up. I will watch the episode -I keep getting busy with other stuff- and then write the full summary. I'm aware some people didn't see it, or missed parts of it, so that should help clear up the summary for everyone...look for it soon. Also, Look for the summary and pics from Table Stakes, I believe some pictures are already posted. I forget. If they're not, they'll be up very soon. I am still working on the Bruckheimer page, I said I was posting it days ago, but I cannot seem to find any information on him anywhere on the net, so it's hard to make a page for him. I'll work on it tho.
May 15, 2001 -- Pearl Harbor, the new movie Jerry Bruckheimer produced, is opening May 25, which is a week from this coming Friday.
May 14, 2001 -- I have been having problems with my counter at the top of the page, so I switched to a different one...I got the current stats from thecounter.com and according to it, the site has hit the 10, 000 mark, so that's cool. This counter should work all the time, because I have one on my main homepage, and it hasn't been a problem at all.......
May 12, 2001 -- I was going to add the Bruckheimer page and some other stuff, BUT...Thursday night I taped CSI but the sound was messed up and no sound on the tape...then when I went to get information and pictures for Jerry's page, my cable modem went out. I had them come out today and it took them 8 or 9 hours of coming to the house, going back to the main office, back to the house, etc etc until they got it working again. Now, it works, but the speeds have been cut in half....anyhow, that's my problem, and I will work on adding those new pages tonight sometime. (sorry)

May 11, 2001 -- Bad news. I taped CSI last night, but I did so with our new cable system. What I didn't know was that when you mute it, it doesn't record the sound....so I have both episodes without sound. I have to get a copy of the show from someone before I make the summary. If anyone has a copy and can mail it to me so I can watch it and send it right back, e mail me at JBoze3131@hotmail.com I will send money back with the tape to cover shipping, so if anyone could do that, let me know. I am not watching the episodes yet, I will watch them later tonight, but I noticed that one of the girls who was arrested is none other than Shonda Farr, one of my favorite new actresses! April 27, 2001 -- I had pictures from some various episodes, but when I transferred everything to CD when I reinstalled windows on my computer, I forgot to save them, and I just noticed that. I'm trying to get an extension for my USB camera and take more pictures of episodes when they air.
April 26, 2001 -- I have no idea what is wrong with my message board and guestbook. When I try to read the book or go to the board, it asks for my username and password. It has to be a problem with the service that does that book and board, and I guess it'll be fixed soon enough....until then, I apologize for it being out.

April 24, 2001 -- I was watching "Talk Soup" tonight, and it said that Thursday there will be a behind the scenes look at "CSI" on the "Early Show" on CBS.

I just moved my computer and everything to the new house, and I didn't get time to add the pictures. I will within a day or so tho. April 5, 2001 -- I have been trying to add summaries for the last episode, but I have yet to even see the episode. My VCR broke, and I am still trying to find somewhere to view the episode and take pictures from it. Tonight, I will be watching the episode as it airs and taking pictures as it airs. I'll also be doing the summary right after it ends, so look for it here, and look for last week's summary soon.
April 2, 2001 -- As you may notice, I still have yet to add last week's episode summary and update some things. I am working hard on a lot of other pages as well as this one, and when I get a chance to watch the episode, I will add the summary. No promises, but it'll probably be sometime tomorrow. I will be taking pictures with my webcam. I took some with my digital camera, but they don't seem to want to come out right, and you can't even tell what the picture is of....so, I'll work on it.

March 14, 2001 -- CSI's ratings from last week: #2. (#17 season to date) "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," CBS, 14.4, 14.7 million homes. According to this information, the show is the 17th highest rated series of the season...plus it beat out many other shows, only losing to Survivor for the entire week of March 5-11.
March 9, 2001 -- On March 7, CSI won the best new series award at the TV Guide Awards. Pictures from the awards show available at the awards section on this site.
March 8, 2001 -- Last week's episode of CSI was the third highest rated show of the week.
