Welcome to CSI etc. The section of The CSI Site for stuff that really didn't fit too well in any other section. I will be adding a number of things here, so come back often for updates. Here is what I have so far.

FBI HANDBOOK -- I checked out the Criterion special edition DVD of Silence of the Lambs the other day from the local library, and it had stuff about handbooks on serial killers and the such, so it gave me the idea to go to the FBI site and find their very own handbook...if you CLICK HERE you can read the entire manual (As far as I can tell.)
CSI SHOW FACTS
Here are some facts about CSI that were in the 2nd draft of the pilot.
1. Gil's last name was Sheinbaum.
2. Catherine and Nick were a couple
3. Catherine had 2 daughters instead of one.
I will be getting a copy of the script soon, so if I find anything else that strays from what is the norm now, I will post it here.
The theme song is "Who Are You" by The Who
The show is produced by Jerry Bruckhemier
CSI is the highest rated new show of the 2000-2001 season.
The show has been picked up for a second season
The show premiered on October 6, 2000 on CBS

Pictured
left is Alicia Coppola. She played the cannibal doctor in the
April 26 episode called "Justice Served." She suffered
from a rare disease called porphyria which causes very bad
blistering and tearing of the skin. She ate the body parts from
her victims in that episode to get oxygen rich hemoglobin (by
grounding the blood rich organs into a powder and making a shake
from that, and drinking it.) Someone on the forum here said that
hemoglobin can't survive the digestive process, so maybe the
episode was not totally factual. I'm not sure personally. You can
