A tougher Stand With China is Necessary
Now, I know there are over a billion people in China, and they have a massive armed forces, but I am sick and tired of this communist government bullying us. First, they get most favored nation status, which baffles me, and now they have our servicemen basically hostage, and they have most likely boarded our plane, which violates international law according to everything I have read and heard. This is pathetic. I know we have to walk on our tiptoes when it comes to China, because we have very good reason to fear them. Yet, we have to take a tougher stand with these people, and let them know, they're not going to bully ANY nation. They can't threaten Tawain and get away with it, they can't terrorize anyone and get away with it. That should be our statement to them. If you ask me, we need to find a way to go into China and help the people overthrow the government and make it possible for Democracy to thrive there. That's the only way we will ever be "safe" from China. When they become democratic, that's when they become a non- threat. We are supposed to be the most powerful country in the world, with a lot of military might, technology, and intelligience. So, why can't we do anything to help the people of China, one, and two, stop the government from threatening us and other countries. I'm not saying it would be easy, but it cannot be impossible, if you ask me.
