Native Americans want professional baseball teams to change their names.
Why does everyone in this country have to whine about stuff all the time?
(Josh Bozeman- April 2, 2001) Some American Indian groups want some baseball teams to change their names. The Indians and the Braves, have racist names they say...and any person who doesn't realize that the names themselves are hate speech is an idiot. An idiot...hmm, sounds like hateful speech to me. The indians are a group that have been treated horribly in the past, yes, but can we let the past be past? Please!? Can we just concentrate on the present and the future, and stop whining about tiny stuff like this? I personally think if the names offend you, then you're a big baby as it is. I mean, you have your right to be offended by whatever you want, but it's sad how everyone wants to whine and try to go to the courts to make the courts and the government change everything. Most of us say we want less government control, yet all we ever do in this country is go straight to the courts and/or the government everytime we find something we don't like. Why are we such children? I have no idea. I don't get offended by much of anything, and I think more people should try to be like that...stop being so childish, and get tough. Stop living in your fantasy perfect world, and ignore the stuff that people might say about you or your culture. Boycott the games and the league, do whatever...just stop bringing your baby problems to the courts, they're bogged down with pointless lawsuits and stuff as it is, so stop making it worse.
