Whence the name Awakening Muse? Musical inspiration flows best from a particular frame of mind. To achieve this mental state, one must awaken the "muse" within. I find that this is a lifelong process: one's muse may doze off from time to time, and thus is continually in the process of awakening. (Besides, my other idea for a name, "Bob's Aluminum Siding and Live Bait," just didn't seem to have the right ring to it...)
