BILL BARTOSIK: BIOGRAPHICAL INFO


Bill Bartosik is a guitarist, composer, and arranger. He has appeared at many clubs, concerts, festivals, and radio performances in New York and elsewhere in the northeastern U.S. He has recorded with bassists Jeff Fuller, Michael Moore, and Mike Ryle, and with drummers Terry Clarke and Gene Lewin, and has worked with pianists Kelly Conner, Kevin Hays, and Mike Holober, guitarists Ken Wessel and John Stowell, trumpeter Jamie Finegan, saxophonists Bill Barron and John Mastroianni, bassists Phil Bowler, Joe Fonda, and Sean Smith, and drummers Royal Hartigan, Sherry Maricle, Tony Mason, and Todd Strait, among many others.

Bartosik earned his BA in music, magna cum laude, from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. After graduating, he studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and with composer/arranger Bill Finegan at the University of Bridgeport, in Bridgeport, CT.

Bartosik's first CD, "The Summoning," is currently available. A second CD will be released in 2000.
