Ya beaucoup de montagnes!!!
Ouf, mechante journe!

On est partit de bonne heure pour monter une montagne avec un des gars de la compagnie d'ici. On a monte au plus haut sommet qui est a 980m. Environ 3-4 km de marche pour se rendre....mais 3-4 km en montant c'est un peu plus difficile qu'a plat!!!!

C'etait pas mal tuff...ca pris environ 1h00-1h30 pour se rendre en haut!!! C'etait difficile a voir comment long qu'il restait a faire so on savait jamais si on arrivait au sommet ou pas.
Mais une fois rendu ca vallait vraiment la peine!!! La vue etait super belle...pis ya un cote de la montagne qu'etait une falaise de haut en bas so tu te couchais sur le bord de la roche pis tu regardais en bas pis c'etait une drop de 1km!!! C'etait pas mal freakan mais super cool!!!

On est reste en haut presqu'une heure a explore les differentes falaises, ensuite on est descendu. Mais descendre c'est pas vraiment plus facile!!! Meme que je dirais que c'est plus dure sur les jambes que monte pcque c'est pas des muscles qu'on est habitue a utilise autant que ceux pour monter!!!

Apres ca on est alle a Whistler....mechantes routes buzantes pour racer!!! Pis le gars qui nous drivait a un Golf GTI V6 booster style fast & furious avec 1400 Watt de SubWooferdans la trunk!!!
Sa trenchait pour aller a Whistler!!!

Bon pis apres on est revenu a Vancouver pis la on a change d'hotel pis avec toutes ca ben ye 22h00 pis je suis brule!!!

Shoes, Chocolat & Cofee!
C'est probablement la rue reve de toutes les filles...
J'ai compte une vingtaine de magasins de souliers sur une rue de 4-5 blocks!....
....des cofee shop et magasin de chocolats....that's it!

So moi je changes de places demain...il devrait bien avoir une rue de Biere, Musique & Terasse?? Is this too much too ask??? :)

La je m'en vais rencontrer ceux qu'on travailles avec mais qu'on a jamais vu.

1er journee
Premiere soiree pas pire, on est aller se promener pis souper dans un pub downtown, pis apres ca on a ete voir un show de Laser sur la musique de Coldplay. C'etait pas mal cool! C'Est comme un genre de Dome un peu comme le IMAX a ottawa mais encore plus dome que ca...descend plus bas sur les bords et recouvre le plafond au complet....anyway c'est plein de projecteur et de laser qui matche la musique. J'ai pris des photos mais ca pas trop ben pogne

Aujourd'hui je suis pas trop sure encore ce qu'on va faire mais je penses qu'on va monter dans les montagnes ou qqchoses du genre.

Ce soir on est supposer sortir avec le monde de vancouver qu'on parle avec a tous les jours a la job mais qu'on a jamais vu....ca va etre weird pcque des fois tu te fais des idees de ce que l'autres a d'lair juste par la voix pis quand tu le vois c completement different.

La rue qu'on reste tout suite la "Robson St", c'est le paradis a Katy!!! (pis ben d'autres filles aussi). Ya des magasins de souliers a n'en pu finir.....je vais aller compter betot combien il en a justes dans un block ou deux....ca pas de bon sens!!! Katy mais qu'elle meurt ben c'est icitte qui va etre son paradis!!! :P

So far c'est une tres belle ville, beaucoup d'arbres!!!

Les Aventures de Blip a Vancouver!
Bon je suis rendu a vancouver!!!!

Premierement ya des grosses montagnes partout...pis c pas des p'tites buttes de terre comme a Sugar Loaf !!!! :)

Anyway priority first on a ete chercher d'la biere pis la on est a l'hotel. Mechant trou notre hotel...ben c pas si pire mais ca fait pas mal dure pour 150$ la nuit!!!!
Meme notre cab driver, qui etait Indou ou je sais pas trop quoi pis qui parlait a moitie pas anglais (avec un accent a la Apu dans les Simpsons) nous a dit en arrivant a l'hotel : "Why the hell did you book this hotel?" :) anyway moi je suis pas trop fusse so sa fait mon affaire ce right down town....very cool!

J'penses qu'a soir on va aller voir un show de Laser sur la musique de Coldplay au Planetarium...cool! J'ai vu sa dans un journal talheure.

Apres ca j'aimerais aller faire un tour au "Little Amsterdam"...j'penses que j'ai pas besoin d'en dire plus sur ca. Actualy, peut etre que je devrais aller au Little Amsterdam avant le show de laser :P

Bon continuer a checker pour des updates et des photos sur "Les aventures de Blip a Vancouver". Je suis ici jusqua mardi soir et je vais ecrire et mettre des photos souvents.

Bizarre Death


At the 1994 annual awards dinner given for Forensic Science, AAFS, President Dr. Don Harper Mills astounded his audience with the legal complications of a bizarre death. Here is the story:

On March 23,1994 the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and concluded that he died from a shotgun wound to the head. Mr. Opus had jumped from the top of a ten story building intending to commit suicide. He left a note to that effect, indicating his despondency. As he fell past the ninth floor his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast passing through a window which killed him instantly.

Neither the shooter nor the descender was aware that a safety net had been installed just below at the eighth floor level to protect some building workers and that Ronald Opus would not have been able to complete his suicide the way he had planned.

"Ordinarily," Dr. Mills continued, "a person who sets out to commit suicide and ultimately succeeds, even though the mechanism might not be what he intended, is still defined as committing suicide."

That Mr. Opus was shot on the way to certain death, but probably would not have been successful because of the safety net, caused the medical examiner to feel that he had a homicide on his hands. The room on the ninth floor, whence the shotgun blast emanated, was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. They were arguing vigorously and he was threatening her with a shotgun. The man was so upset that when he pulled the trigger he completely missed his wife and the pellets went through the window, striking Mr. Opus.

When one intends to kill subject A but kills subject B in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject B. When confronted with the murder charge the old man and his wife were both adamant. They both said they thought the shotgun was unloaded. Thed old man said it was his long-standing habit to threaten his wife with the unloaded shotgun. He had no intention to murder her. Therefore the killing of Mr. Opus appeared to be an accident; that is, the gun had been accidentally loaded.

The continuing investigation turned up a witness who saw the old couple's son loading the shotgun about six weeks prior to the fatal accident. It transpired that the old lady had cut off her son's financial support and the son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that his father would shoot his mother. The case now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus.

Now comes the exquisite twist. Further investigation revealed that the son was, in fact, Ronald Opus. He had become increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to engineer his mother's murder. This led him to jump off the ten story building on March 23rd, only to be killed by a shotgun blast passing through the ninth story window. The son had actually murdered himself so the medical examiner closed the case as a suicide.
