-So, this is my radio show, playing the new sound in jazz for Lane County and the world. I've been doing this here at the University of Oregon for about 3 months now, and I previously did it at the University Of Rhode Island, where the show had a slightly different focus, mixing in some "jam" bands. About me... well, I'm a sophomore at the U of O, on exchange from the University Of Rhode Island, majoring in Art History. I've been digging jazz for about four or five years now, and the more "out" stuff, as well as stuff with funk leanings has always been my bread and butter, and I think that the playlists reflect that pretty well...
