DARK
MURDOCK
QUOTES
This page is by no mean yet
complete. There are many more ‘Dark
Murdock’ quotes out there and I would appreciate any and all suggestions. Also, I’m toying with the idea of creating a
page for Dark Murdock quotes from fanfic as well. What do you think? Could we find some?
Quotes are in episode order. What you’ll probably realise very quickly is
that most of the quotes come from seasons 1, 2 and 5. That’s because I currently only have access
to those seasons. So quotes from seasons
3 and 4 will be very much welcomed.
Murdock: Sorry, my mother was on the phone.
Amy: Your mother? From the file I got on you it said that she
died when you were five.
Murdock: She did. But, uh, I had a line put in. You know.
What a hassle. The telephone company, they don’t cooperate.
Took awhile, but we’re solid now.
(Mexican Slayride)
Murdock: I’m not nuts, I keep
telling everybody, don’t you think I wanna get out of
here and see E.T just like everybody else?
(Mexican Slayride)
Murdock: They don’t let crazy people vote. They take that right away
from you when you committed. We are also
immune to fear. We can’t hook up emotionally to the concept of cerebral
damage.
(Pros and Cons)
Murdock: I don’t know, I have intermittent memory
loss.
(Pros and Cons)
Face: Murdock what’s going
to happen?”
Murdock: Looks like we’re gonna crash.
Face: No, come on really, what’s gonna happen?
Murdock: It looks like we’re gonna crash… and die.
(
Face: Are you nuts?
Murdock: Absolutely and totally.
(
Amy: Where’s the pilot?
Murdock: Oh, it was kinda strange. I was
just standing there talking to him, and all of a sudden, he fell in my arms.
Amy: You knocked him out.
Murdock: Oh, don’t let’s not get technical.
(One More Time)
Murdock: Flying kind to Penny. Mayday, Mayday.
We’re going in.
Amy: Murdock, going in what?
Murdock: The plane is going in the ocean, and we’re going in the jungle.
(One More Time)
Murdock: Sociopathic personality is
simply a person who feels no emotion, no love, no pain, nothing. Of course, they learn to fake these things
very well, but they could kill without regard, and then pass a lie detector
test with impunity. (In British accent)
You see, aside from being the A-Team’s perennial bride, I also handle
the psychological profiles. But I shan’t, I shan’t bore you with my
credentials, my dear.
(Till Death Us Due Part)
Face: Not mine.
BA: Not mine.
Face: Murdock.
BA: It was Murdock’s.
(Bad Time On The Border)
Bad guy: You’re nuts!
Murdock: No, I’m condiments! I’ve
been promoted!
(Labor Pains)
Murdock: Amy, I’m gonna make you feel real
wanted. You know what I mean? Real wanted.
(There’s Always A
Catch)
Dave: Face it,
Murdock, they’re not gonna let you out of this place.
Murdock: So? What’s the big deal? What, what they allow, and
what I do are two separate zip codes, buddy.
(Water, Water Everywhere)
Gains: What, are you fugitives from the
banana bin?
Murdock: How’d he know?
(Water, Water Everywhere)
Murdock: Beware the dogs of war!
(Steel)
Mrs Hicks: Are you a
psychiatrist?
Murdock: No, ma’am, I’m
insane.
(In Plane Sight)
Murdock: You are constantly drawing false conclusions based on little or
no information at all.
BA: You’re a
nut. And that’s a conclusion based on fact.
Murdock: Only based on your definition of what constitutes nuttiness.
Now, I think the others here might agree that my recent behaviour can
only be described as normal. Reasonable description, considering the fact that I have
consciously decided to conform to less aberrant behaviour, simply because of
your constant verbal abuse.
BA: Even when
he talks straight he sounds crazy.
(In Plane Sight)
Murdock: (shots gun) Now, the question you’re asking yourself is did he
fire 5 or 6 bullets? Do you feel lucky?
(In Plane Sight)
Tawnia: Murdock, what if they’ve really been caught
this time, and can’t meet us?
Murdock: Well that just means I’ll have a traumatic experience.
(Say It With Bullets)
Murdock: The colonel really bends my mind out of shape, you know?
BA: Man, if your mind was bent out of shape, it’d be straight, fool.
(Harder Than It Looks)
Murdock: Jennifer, you’ve just won an all expense paid kidnapping with the
terrorist of your choice!
(Harder Than It Looks)
Murdock: Use your imagination. Or you can borrow mine. (evil laugh)
(Harder Than It Looks)
Murdock: I guess it’s too late to ask you guys to bust me back into the
VA, huh?
(Deadly Manoeuvres)
Murdock:
(Curtain Call)
Murdock: War is hell, Wallygator, isn't it? Well, we know hell,
and we know war, right?"
(The
Murdock: When the going gets tough, the tough get aeronautical."
(Skins)
Murdock: You listen to me. You hurt one hair on her head and I won't sleep, I
won't eat, and I will find you and when I do, I will feed your head to flies.
(Bounty)
Frankie (about Murdock): Who is he?
Face: Well, uh, when we get on a plane, you can sit next to him.
And if you figure him out, let us know.
(Dishpan Man)
Frankie: Are you okay?
Murdock: That has never satisfactorily
been determined.
(Dishpan Man)
Stockwell: What brings you here, Captain? Certainly
not my men. Why come of your own accord?
Murdock: (stressed) Because I don’t like wearing
somebody else’s straightjacket. (regains composure)
Besides, we have something in common. We both want the A-Team alive and well.
Stockwell: Why would I want that?
Murdock (pointing a gun at him): You know, all of my psychiatric
training has taught me that WHY you want the A-team alive and well is
unimportant. The important thing is, you want the A-Team alive and well, which
means if they’re dead… They’re no good. Now, you allowed them to go out in
front of that jury knowing full well that they were going to be convicted and
you sent them after Curtis knowing full well he was going to put them at the
scene of Morrison’s murder. Now, you have very neatly and specifically lined us
up and pop pop pop pop pop we have all fallen into
place exactly where we are.
Stockwell: Whoever judged you insane, Captain, should have his
license lifted.
(Firing Line)
Murdock: Bless me Father, for I am about to sin.
(Firing Line)
BA: How long you out for, man?
Murdock: Oh, as long as I want. I’m, I’m officially released.
Face: What?
Murdock: I’m, I’m no longer insane. I got my papers and everything.
The board reviewed my case, and uh, they released me. The hospital
did a terrific job. They cured me of all my psychiatric ills.
Frankie: After more than a decade?
Murdock: Well, the road to hope is often pockmarked.
BA: So are you. I may be glad to see you, but you’re still
crazy.
(Firing Line)
Girl: Who are you guys? Who are you?
Murdock: I’m just a waiter.
(Without Reservations)
