"If you give, you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use in giving--large or small--it will be used to measure what is given back to you." - Luke 6:38 (NLT)
My name is Rita, but you can call me Joy. I'm currently live in Jakarta, Indonesia.
I came from a big family, I'm the eldest of 4 children. My siblings are all in schools (I thank God for that). Through this time around, God has really shown me the meaning of the word "Manna". Life had been so difficult for us, we had to sell bottles just to be able to bought 1 liter of rice, there were many sorrows back in the old days, but thank God ,everything is quite OK now, we have enough food to eat every day, we have one small motorcycle that my Dad use to take us to go anywhere, and thank God, that all my siblings can have their education now.
I'm very interested in doing mission trips and I've just found out from a friend that I could join YWAM to fulfill my passion. I have recently applied for a volunteer job in YWAM New Zealand. Yippee...but they also told me that since it's a volunteer job, I will still need people to support my finance, since there are a lot of things that I need to pay out, the air ticket, food, accommodation and all those other things. My local currency is not too good against any foreign currency (except for Third world countries like mine, it's ok).
I myself have a job, but every month I have to give it all to my Mom since my siblings are still in schools.
Well, guys that's my story, it's not like I'm the most miserable person in the earth, but I really need your help to fulfill The Lord's plan. If you have any further question, please don't hesitate to contact me
