Biography
After forming in July 2002 the band has underwent many changes both in line up and purpose. It all began with now singer Jamie entering a band into a "Battle of the bands" at strawberry fields , this would of been a great idea if only Jamie was at the time in a band. He had formally been in a band called FadedMinds but they had broken up about two months prior due to "creative differences". So without a band Jamie had too work fast but he didn't he waited until just over a month before the gig and phoned the guitarist from his old band Euan who was definitely not interested , but said he would come along to practise anyway. Jamie and Euan then recruited a bass player Ian and a drummer they hadn't met called John. John then suggested getting another guitarist called Stuart involved. So with a band of five and a month to go until the first gig the band got to rehearsing and after a month of solid pissing about and making up lists the band played in front of a sell out crowd at Strawberry Fields and they came a respectable second behind a band who only won cause their incredibly hot singer was wearing hotpants and fishnets (Jamie was going to try this method but his were in the wash). After the highs of Song2 and Alright Now the band took a month off to piss about before regrouping without a bass player due to Ian's sensible outlook on studying. They then again entered themselves in a battle of the bands at their local school to win a chance of getting to play at the prestigious Garage club in Glasgow , they of course found their way through that with an array of dazzling new songs which stunned the audience into oblivion. Since then they have played again at the local school for charity and are looking forward to more gigs at a variety of places all of which wont go well. The original core of the band has always been Euan, John , Stuart and Jamie , but the position of bassist has changed a few times from Ian to Gillespie and now on to a new man Gavin. The future looks bright for the band who's mantra is sex drugs and rock n roll , and the minute they start getting one of the three things will be looking up. What will the future hole for the fantastic five who are looking to finally save or kill rock n roll ?
