In my left a star, In my right A
beating heart.
When I shuffle From one hand To the
other
The star pulsates where the heart was beating
And the heart sparkles where the star had shone.
I ask you to choose The heart, the star.
Which hand, Which hand? You say first the left
And then the right, But when I open each palm In turn,
we are both amazed To find only heartprints in a fine
dusting of starfall.
