        Strawberries are low in calories and a good source of many necessary vitamins and nutrients that our bodies need in order be healthy.  Strawberries are high in iron and Vitamin C; they also have less than 60 calories per cup.  It only takes eight strawberries to obtain 14 percent of the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C that children need to have healthy bodies.  Folic acid, fiber, potassium, and cancer fighting antioxidants can also be found in strawberries.
