The Chronicles of Oscar the Doormat

Hey! I'm Oscar. Oscar the Doormat. My life was so pointless. I was sheltered in a breezeway and constantly walked on. Last week, I had a taste of what it felt like to be a movie star, and I just had to get out and see the world! So...this is my story. Here are my rescuers. They came on a drizzly day in June...
They took me to a great party, where I was able to try my profession at a different door. It was great fun! Unfortunately, my previous owner walked right over me with out even a "Hello!"
Later, my rescuers took me to another gathering, and put me to work guarding the front door of the new establishment.
The only visitor was Kassi, and she was miffed 'cause it's usually HER duty to guard the house.

I decided I needed to be a tourist today. But first, I needed to "get cleaned up".
A visit to the laundromat and the barber were in order!

The barber said that there wasn't much that could be done for me...

It was about lunchtime, so I stopped to get a bite to eat at a local establishment where I met the cutest doormat named "Tami". She was lovely......

My first stop was at Coors....

I saw this sign, and thought of my previous owner. This is his favorite type of beer....

Thinking of him began to get me down, so I took a break and stopped to smell the roses....

I had a wonderful dream the other night (guess I take after my former owner...)....

Deciding that action needed to be taken IMMEDIATELY to realize my fantastic vision, I haled a cab.....

My destination? Sin City! Viva Las Vegas!

The only difficulty that I encountered was when this bozo mistook me for some lame 'ol door mat! I was quick to inform him of his error!!....

On my continued search for my owner, I went to Rocky Mountain National Park!!....

Unexpectantly, I was picked up by a bear but I just played dead so it would leave me alone.

After seeing one bear, I decided to find a friendly bear to hang out with

I found my new friend and we decided to get a bite to eat

He led me to his favorite place to eat

Continuing along my way, I decided to stop at the Dam Store for a picture.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

Faithful friends of my prior owner where helping the effort

And what was my previous owner doing? Stealing other people's doormats and showing them off at night clubs!

He never took me out for a night on the town **sigh**
