Frequently Asked Questions

How often will you come to my house to cook? Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

It’s entirely up to you. Our standard plan provides enough dinners for ten days and enough variety so you won’t have to eat the same thing twice in the same week. Most clients have us come out twice a month, others once a month, and some only occasionally. Other personal chefs may require you to sign a long-term contract – we only do that if you want to guarantee our service on particular days over a certain period of time.

I’m a picky eater, will you adjust your recipes based on my likes and dislikes?

By all means! Before your first day of service we will ask you a series of detailed questions to find out about your food preferences, allergies, or other dietary requirements.

I have small children, can you prepare simple foods for them and how much will it cost?

We do not have a separate menu for children, but will be happy to make a proposal if requested.

Do I have to be at home when you come to cook?

No, as long as appropriate arrangements are made in advance.

Can you make things that are not included on this menu?

Absolutely. Whether you have a family favorite, something you saw in a food magazine, or something you recently had at a restaurant and loved, we will be happy to make it for you. Premium prices may apply depending on ingredient costs.

How long does the cooking session last?

Typically, we are at a client’s home for three to four hours.
