AT 10 A.M. IN THE DANCER'S CHAT ROOM
AND AT 11:00 A.M. IN THE SUPPORT CHAT ROOM!
(There will even be drawings for those who lost their tickets. We understand how that sometimes goes!)
CONTESTS! - Below is a list of contests we're holding for our Grand Opening Dance Party, in addition to what we do on the 6th!
1. Send us the best cheer you can think of. It must be your own original work. (Group work o.k.) We'll accept votes from the readers (by clicking here.) Then, at 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 1st, we'll take one last big vote in the Dancer's Chat Room and award a prize to the one that gets the most votes. So be sure to invite all your friends to the Dancer's Chat Room To help CHEER you along!!!
2. Prize awarded to the dance student with the most scars, blisters, and/or scabs on his or her feet, as verified by his or her dance teacher. Just get your teacher to count them with you and e-mail the number to us. If you don't have a teacher, you can bring two friends to the awards who can verify the number for you. The winner will be announced in the Dancer's Chat Room at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 13th!
3. Fouetté, fouetté, fouetté!
How many times can you go around without getting dizzy and falling down?
Prize awarded to the highest number of times as verified the same as in #2 above.
This prize will also be awarded in the
Dancer's Chat Room at 4 p.m.
on Tuesday, August 16th!
4. Okay! Let's get the support people in on the fun! 
Let's hear from the moms, dads, teachers, grandparents, brothers, sisters and friends of dancers who have stories to tell! Send in your stories and we will get them in print! There will be a prize for the most moving story, and one for the funniest, too! We'll vote on the winners at 10:00 on Saturday, August 20th, in the Support Chat Room, so invite your friends to come vote!
5. Turn about is fair play, and so we'll give the dancers their chance to tell their side of the tale! Send us your funny and moving stories about the people who support you in dance! We'll vote for the winners on Saturday, August 20th,
at 11:00 a.m. in the Dancer's Chat Room!
6. Prize to the studio with the most in attendance in the Dancer's Chat Room at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 27th, and at 11:00 on the same morning in the Support Chat Room, too!
