Staples Center Rush show, I bit the bullet, bought a new DAT recorder and made the big drive to Irvine Meadows to try to tape at least one good DAT recording from this tour. I think this one turned out pretty good, considering this was the 1st time I'd used an M1 (the buttons and knobs aren't in the familiar places) and there was a 10 minute downpour just before the show started. Needless to say I was cold and soggy. Who says it never rains in California? The performance was much tighter than the L.A. show. The audience was pretty excited about the show also, which is evidenced in this recording. The guy next to me, who promised he'd be quiet for a CD copy of the DAT, made the most noise. Oh well, what can you do! It's still an enjoyable show to listen to IMHO. This was pretty decent trade bait, and I'll be posting a couple more Rush shows and a couple Yes shows from this year's tours as I get the chance to listen to them to check for errors. If anyone get's a copy of the L.A. Staples Center show, please post it! The overall performance was a bit loose, but Alex's rap about the meat-eating bees is hilarious! Repost info: As usual, I'll gladly do segment reposts within reason, but I'll only repost full songs if something screws up on my end. Please send all reposts requests via e-mail ( danamn1492@hotmail.com ) as I might miss them otherwise. Cheers! Lalo The setlist: Disc 1: Set 1 01. Three Stooges Intro 02. Tom Sawyer 03.
