Nestled against the mountains of Southwest Idaho, I was born in Boise, ID, in October of 1978. My loving family, with two older sisters and one younger brother, were and are a major part of my life.
I studied Sociology at Willamette University in Salem, OR, where I had two unique experiences- to be a college athlete and to study in Seville, Spain. Both of these experiences challenged me to be the best that I can be and serve as a constant reminder that I can achieve my dreams if I work hard to explore the opportunities all around me.
Upon graduation, I returned to Boise and started working for Capital Youth Soccer Association managing soccer leagues. Later I moved to a position at the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Counsel. It was there, while designing programs and trainings for girls and adults, I decided to start my Masters of Education at Boise State University.
away from the non-profit arena, I took a position at the University of
Phoenix, Idaho Campus as an Academic Advisor.
During this time, I changed directions and started the Masters of
Education: Adult and Distance Learning program at the University of
Phoenix, which I will complete
I recently married a wonderful man, Joe Bond, and we enjoy spending our free time renovating our older home and being with our family an friends.
