Dear friends,

First of all I want to thank all of you for putting up with us this year! The year 2004 has truly been an interesting experience! In my personal life it's been quite a hazzle. Moving to a new flat, putting tons of effort into different projects, like my work for the congrecations in Karjaa (Karis) and Pohja, my semi-serious sociological studies at the University of Helsinki, losing my grandmother and breaking up with my long-time girlfriend - just to mention a few things - were all important happenings that certainly affected the year - some of them even the rest of my life.

Achievments have of course also been done within my most important "baby" - Agathon's Legacy!
I can not express the tremendous joy I've felt while working for the thing that later turned out to be our single "Everyman"!

On the live scene I've had seriously various experiences... All gigs and jams I've hade the pleasure to participate in have - thank God - in the end turned out to be (at least somewhat) succesfull. Though we haven't been timewise much on the road this year with AL I can ensure you that we've both seen, heard and felt A LOT! :) The Gloria jam trip to Mikkeli and Oulu was a fantastic experience - and as those of you who have checked out the tour section on this webpage know - that trip is not the only thing that AL has to express immense gratitude to the Gloria staff for. Oh, by the way, if anyone of you has found some material on that trip on the internet, please send a link to me. I'd be especially interested in seeing the explicit content (I did do THREE nude swims within 2 days...)

Of course there are always some things that, when you look back at everything happened within a past year, will not remain as lovely memories. And you have yourself to blame. I want to apologize to my grandmother, for being too busy during her life's past months. Still I'm very thankful I met her for the last time only a few days before she passed away and thus could say goodbye. Also, I'd like to apologize to the fantastic Black Clown band. I really wanted to jam with you guys but there just wasn't any free time for that. Sorry I promised more than I could deliver.

My most important reason to be sorry is that I didn't persist in believing in you, Mikaela. I love you and I'd do anything to give us another try. Thank you for still wanting to see me! If we start by trying to be friends... Whatever happens, you're still my number one!

And time for some thanks, to cheer you up a little! Freddie, Heather and Arnie - never leave me. You're my best friends and I couldn't imagine playing our music with any other team. I know you get pissed off at me every now and then, so my new year's promise to you guys is to do my utmost to be a LITTLE easier to handle... :)

The "Agathon's Legacy families" - thanks for your support! AL needs you!

Last but not least - all you friends, fans (whatever you want to call yourselves). Without you there would be no sense in doing this thing I love so much - playing in the worlds coolest rock band!

To finish I'll give you a few personal updates. I've suffered from pneumonia for the past 7 weeks. I AM getting better, although I'm also getting REALLY pissed at not being able to sings. Think about it - SEVEN WEEKS! I'm now on antibiotics and according to specialists in medical science I will get my voice back unchanged, but it will still take time. So no singing for me within January! God knows it's not easy for me to keep my mouth shut! The only positive side I can see in this miserable physical state I'm in is that I quite simply am OBLIGED to focus on playing guitar. If I don't do something musical I'll soon end up in a psychologically much worse state than I've ever physically been... :)

I'm also anxiously awaiting news from the United Kingdom. There should be some Rottweiler puppies born within days...

Next year AL will stay mostly in Finland, but our second manager will arrange at least some shows in Estonia, possibly other countries as well. I will at least do a few solo performances in the UK and France. Of course I hope I'll be able to bring the whole band with me, but that's always an economical issue. We'll try and see!

More recording sessions will be held, we have 2 new songs to complete and my greatest pleasure would be to release another record during next year. At least a single, maybe an EP or even an entire album!

I sincerely hope you have had an as interesting year as I've had and wish you all of the best for these last days of it. Let's make 2005 an even better year! Happy new year and take care!

-Kris
