Chapters 14-15
aLersIe - well then happy birthday! we scorpios kick ass. i'm really glad you like the story, thanks for reviewing!
alexa - yeah, i suffer from the same i-can't-capitalize names syndrome. i know jude and cinna's relationship isn't very romantic, but i sort of like it that way. they almost act like best friends with benefits. i just like throwing in a couple that's normal without crazy drama. plus, all you romantics aren't being satisfied, which means it's all building up for whenever river has romantic escapades.
artic husky - yeah, i'm trying to keep it unpredictable as long as reasonably possible. i like the fact that half the reviewers root for matt, and the other half for tristan. but everyone feels bad for matt, and i'm no exception. his life kind of sucks. and it kills me to write how river and cinna are drifting apart somewhat. i just want to kick river in the shin, and i'm the writer, so i can only imagine how you guys feel. hahaha! tristan corndog! yeah...that's pretty dirty, period. pretty sad, because this chapter's humor was based entirely off of dirty innuendos and dirty potty humor.
braincelldiffusion - i agree! if i read one more story about a girl who cuts her wrists directly after a guy shows interest, i'm going to kick myself in the face. this site needs a few more humor stories to balance out all the angsty-ness. thanks for the review!
brownbread - yeah i know, the beginning sucks. i think when i finish the story, i'll go back and tweak it some to make it suck less, but thanks for reading all the way through. i'm glad it's still unpredictable. when i started writing the story, i just decided i was going to make the readers just buckle up and read. cliches can be fun (my other story is outrageously cliche), but i just wanted to go in another direction. and yeah, it's somewhat autobiographical, like i wrote in my last author's note. and i'm working on incorporating more cinna and jude, which is hard because river's kind of got her head stuck up her butt at the moment, so... and i'm glad you like the dialogue and flow, that's definitely what i work hardest to achieve. thanks for the review!
chocolatemusic - i'm glad you like the story, and i'm glad river's not overbearingly quirky. i'm continuing as quickly as possible! thanks for the review!
clooless - i'm really glad you like the story! thanks for reviewing!
dark alleys and cable cars - haha, maybe you should keep some windex ready for your poor computer screen. and i love the fact that your dad's a psycho at sporting events. normally when i go to games, i spend more time watching the rabid fans than watching the actual game. and maybe i'll put the warning in the beginning of the story, a few other people have suggested other warnings as well.
day2dreamer - haha, i'm really glad you like it, and i hope you didn't wake up your sister. try getting some sleep! the rift between river and cinna is driving me crazy, and i'm the writer. i can't wait for them to reconcile, and it's killing me to drag it out. i'm glad you like both tristan and matt, and i totally agree that nate is a freak. i don't like nate. at all. and i'm glad you don't think that cinna and jude are lacking. and yeah, i'm having a ton of fun! it just makes me guilty when i don't update within two weeks (umm, yeah, sorry 'bout that!)
dinva - well, there aren't that many chapters left before we find out what direction the story's going. i'm really glad you like the story! thanks for reviewing!
driew - i'm glad you did well on your test, but you suck because you don't like shakespeare. oh well. you review my story, so you don't suck very much. haha, river and a cult member would be pretty fun. i'll keep that in mind!
eyes of fire - i'm really glad you like the story! keeping the story funny is my biggest challenge, because it's taking a more serious turn, but she's still river, so i have to work to balance out the storyline and the humor. i'm glad it's working! thanks for reviewing!
funsize - yeeah, i definitely want to meet your friends! and don't heckle me! i'm hurrying! thanks for reviewing!
ind-fam - yeah, i had already made the list of characteristics, traits, and planned growth. it's just sometimes hard to remember to incorporate it all, because sometimes i get caught up with writing river. plus, slipping that into a one-perspective story can be quite a challenge, i hope i'm doing alright. yeah, i like jude too. he kinda seems like the sort of guy that everyone knows but no one really writes in. and i love giving her guy friends that she actually interacts well with, namely jude and noah. this is really the only story i'm working on, but thanks for reviewing it so faithfully! you're my review diva.
ladiebug - glad you like it! thanks for reviewing!
lane - thanks, i'm glad you like the story and that it's remaining funny. i think the beginning chapters were funnier, but they had less plot, so i'm busy trying to balance plot and humor now. thanks for reviewing!
lilxseeker - i'm so glad you like it, and i swear, i'm trying to update more often. i love the penalty glass kiss, just because i love hockey and i stalk the penalty box because i adore hockey players. and i really loved the scene with river beating on noah. poor noah, he and matt are always being screwed over.
luv me like no other - i love you like no other. thanks for reviewing, and glad you like hot harry potter. it's a fact, girls do stalk boys. i just thought it would be fun to throw a stalkee into a story. yeah, and river is extremely hyper, though she has her down time, normally in which she's bitchy and pissed off. glad you like the prank, but the best pranks are yet to come! yay for pranking!
MANDY! - wow, i had no idea the story was worthy of sleep deprivation. i'm glad you like it! thanks for reviewing, and i hope you really don't die of anxiety!
mira61 - matt and river, eh? sorry, i'm about to kill off matt. just kidding! anyway, hope you liked her siblings!
ovch - yeah, i know. it's sad, because i'm the writer and i direct everything going on, but i was so super pissed at cinna and noah because matt found out. and jude is pretty sweet. i think i may have a problem with developing crushes on all my characters, because i pretty much adore noah too. and i'm sorry, but you can't kick tristan in the balls. he's a fictional character. but hey, if he ever trips and falls on his face, i'll put your name in parenthesis, and then you can feel like you've indirectly caused him pain. and i'm working on the bipolar thing. i don't have any semblence of a plot yet for that story, and the only character i've really considered is the main one. i'm going to keep that story brewing on the back burner while i'm still trying to keep this one from self combusting.
right or ryn - haha, if you'd like it, i'll have a piano fall on him, and then matt's twin brother will show up and take his place. sound good? anyway, i'm really glad you like the story. i don't know if snoop dogg has that exact ringer, though when i was looking for ringtones i definitely heard a few that were very close to it. and there's plenty of time for river and bailey to duke it out, i swear. and i know, i soooo wish i had the guts to throw a quarter down a butt crack. i don't have the cajones either, though if i was feeling a little hypomania and some hot guys were egging me on, i'm sure i would. and all the pranks in the story work, i know, i've used them in my arsenal. tristan does have front teeth, fortunately. can you imagine kissing a guy without front teeth? eewwww. and it seriously entertains me that you know a matt thompson. maybe you should go ask him out. as for impotence...it's actually kind of sad. i always say "impotent" instead of "impudent" because i'm stupid, and when i was writing the story i was trying to figure out how to spell it, which resulted in a trip to which resulted in me laughing my head off because i realized what i'd really been saying all these years. and i'm not offended or anything, but bipolar is like having uncontrollable moods that change really quickly. most frequently, i change from being horrible depressed to being completely wired and psychotically hyper in the matter of a few minutes. but mostly it just sucks, because it gives me the side effect of insomnia and anxiety attacks, which suck ass. i love river's picture too. she's pretty, but not overly so. she's more like cute, and she's not really skinny. she's more curvy, i suppose. it works out well. and i flipping love south park!
sally can wait - uhmm, no. her sister is fifteen, and the other one has graduated from grad school. might be a little weird if tristan was making out with them, but i definitely laughed when i read that. and the heavyweights reference! i love heavyweights! and i'm glad you have converted from "peter" to "matt", and i wish i could meet your frankenstein friend. i definitely had to reread your review a few times because i was like "...wait, what?!" and i'm glad tristan has earned the "smexy" title, though i can't comment on their chemistry. i guess you'll have to wait and see. and fartknocker is a pretty good insult, but that doesn't change the fact that you lie awake at night in your bed eating your own boogers.
smudged lines - don't worry about it, i always forget to review stories i read regularly. being 18 feels peculiarly like being 17, but go figure. and yes, girly river appears again. i have a feeling she's going to appear a lot more frequently from now on. and i feel so bad for matt too! he definitely gets screwed, like, regularly. but it's good you also like tristan. most reviewers love one and hate the other, which is fun because i like to see the rift between reviews, but it's nice to have a few people that don't necessarily despise the other side of the triangle. and cinna and jude don't really have a dramatic relationship, but as soon as they reconcile we'll see more of their interactions.
starrymelody - i'm glad you like it! i'm not really sure a publisher would come within thirty feet of it, but at least i'm enjoying writing it, and you guys are enjoying reading it. and i think you should go out tonight, get chocolate cake, and throw it at a random person's window. i'm sure it's very stress relieving. thanks for reviewing!
starxcookie - two brownies to you for reviewing! whoever the guy she ends up with is gonna be a lucky guy...let's just hope he's a very patient guy!
tears.of.night - hey, i'm really glad you like the story! i'm churning it out as quick as i can! thanks for reviewing!
trishcbury - eh...inches away awkwardly. just kidding! haha, i laughed really hard at that review. sorry i'm not a boy. there's not much i can do about that.
