Welcome to the Xwa Match Type Section. This Section Contains some of the Matches that The Xwa has Had over it's 2 years in operations
Battle Royal: The winner of this match is the last person in the ring after all other wrestlers have been thrown over the top rope.
Best Two out of Three falls: To win you must score two falls on your opponent before he can score two on you. Sometimes each of the falls is fought under different stipulations, such as one straight wrestling fall, one submissions only fall and one no disqualification fall.
Brawl (By Location): This is a match were although the battle is hardcore it is only in a certain location. The winner is the first to score a pin fall or Submission.
Cage Match: Self-explanatory. Your locked in a cage with another person and you both continue until one of you submits and taps out, or someone gets out of the cage either by climbing out of the cage or threw the door. Cage matches can have several deviations and stipulations added to it to make it more entertaining. The cage itself is 15' steel cage with an open top.
Cell Match: Self-explanatory. Your locked in a wire cage with another person and you both continue until one of you submits, taps out or is pinned. Variation is Flaming Hell in a Cell - A Cell That's On Fire
Death Match: Similar to a Last Man Standing match, this match is fought under one fall rules, but the loser of the fall is administered a ten count. If they are able to answer the count, the match continues.
Electrocution Match: Ropes are replaced with electrically charged
cables, lumberjacks on outside have cow prongs
Elimination Chamber: A huge black chamber, fits 6 men, eliminate
every opponent, very brutal chamber
Elimination Tag Team match: This is a tag team match except that the wrestler suffering the loss of a fall is eliminated from participation. The match continues until all members of one team are eliminated.
Explosion Match: Usually accompanied with barb wire ropes, a large barb wire wrapped explosion board is placed in the ring laced with a small amount of C4. The loser is the man that is blown up.
Falls Count Anywhere Match: This match begins as both wrestlers battle, in and out of the ring, they can be pinned anywhere, in the ring, on the arena floor, the backstage area, the parking lot.
Fatal four way: Same as a triple threat match, but with four wrestlers instead of three
Fatal Four Way Elimination Match: This is like a triangle match with 4 opponents where the people are eliminated until one person is left, that person is the winner. (Victory Based on other match Stipulations.)
Death Cage barbed wire cell match: This match is a hell in a cell, but on both sides of the steel cell (inside and outside) there is barbed wire covering it the whole way. Also, the ring is surrounded by flames. And also the ropes are made of barbed wire, along with the turnbuckles and turnbuckle pads being wrapped in it. The fire is very wild and quite often random bits of flame will fly into the ring
Gauntlet Match: In a Gauntlet match one person has to face off against a series of others. Only one member of the Gauntlet can be in the ring at a time and when they are eliminated (Pin fall, Submission, Count out.), The next member comes to the ring. this continues until ether the lone wrestler is eliminated or the Gauntlet team is eliminated.
Hardcore Match: No RULES. You must win by pin fall or tap out and Falls count anywhere. Weapons can be used and others may interfere.
Hell In A Cell: This match is a hardcore match that takes place in a large steel cage that there is no escaping from, the door to the cell is locked until the match is over. The use of weapons is aloud but the pin fall or submission must occur in the ring. There is no count outs.
I Quit' Match: Two wrestlers compete. There are no pins, tap outs, or DQ's. The only way to win is get your opponent to say "I QUIT".
Ladder Match: This match requires the combatants to scale a ladder in the center of the ring to grab the prize usually a title. The first person to scale the ladder and grab the belt wins. There are no disqualifications. Anything goes, no holds barred.
Last Man Standing: A no disqualification, no count out match with no pin falls. Whenever a wrestler is knocked down, they must regain their feet within a ten count or they will lose the match.
Light bulb Match: The ring ropes have rows of 3 ft long halogen light bulbs taped to them. Pin falls count as normal. The ref is not in the ring, he remains out side and carries the ring bell. The count is sounded by the bell.
Lumberjack match: A match where the ring is surrounded by a group of "lumberjacks", normally fellow wrestlers. When one participant in the match leaves the ring for any reason, the lumberjacks are supposed to return him to the ring as soon as possible. The lumberjacks are generally a combination of faces (fan favorites) and heels (villains), who sometimes fight among themselves outside the ring. Sometimes, as part of a storyline, a face will wrestle a heel with a group of lumberjacks consisting entirely of heels.
One on One Match: Must be won by pin fall or submission or count out or disqualification. If the referee catches you cheating in anyway, you will be disqualified. If the one on one match is a title match, disqualifications does not mean the title will change hands unless the rules set down before hand states so. No foreign objects such as tables, chairs, trashcans, etc. are allowed in a standard one on one match.
Pinfalls Only Match: A one fall match in which victory can only come as a result of a pin.
Pole Match: Some object, either desired by both parties in the match or possibly a weapon of some kind, is place at the end of a pole. Depending on the circumstances the match will end when the object is successfully retrieved by one of the combatants, or if it is a weapon, when it is successfully used by one of the combatants on the other. Alternately the match is fought under one fall rules with the object on the pole considered a legal foreign object. It may be used as a weapon by the wrestler who retrieves it.
Singles: A regular one on one match in which both competitors are expected to keep a clean match inside the ring. If outside the ring, the competitor(s) have a count of ten (10) to get back inside. Also, an automatic disqualification (DQ) happens if any weapons are used or the referee gets harmed in any way. To win you must score a pinfall or a submission.
Scaffold Match: A 20 foot scaffold is built above the ring where the wrestlers battle on the scaffold. This is an anything goes match and the winner is the one that throws the other off the scaffold. Scaffold is 3 feet wide x 30 feet long x 20 feet high. Safety nets can be used , but often are not. The two ways to win the match are to push the opponent off of the scaffold so that he/she hits the mat or to grab the flag from the opponent's home base of the scaffold and return it to their own home base.
Street Fight Match: Anything goes, you can bring anything to the ring to use, no disqualifications, no count outs.
Submission Match: You must win by getting your opponent to submission only. There are no pin falls.
Table Match: A table match is where the loser is the first one thrown, suplexed or knocked into a table where the table breaks. If the table breaks from the force of their move, the match is over. But if the table doesn't break, the match continues. Variations include Flaming Table where the table is on fire and Glass table, which is a table covered in galss.
Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match: Regular hardcore match with loads of tables, ladders and chairs.
Tag Team Match: This match involves 4 people, 2 people to a team. To win a person from one team must pin an opponent of the opposing team for a pin fall count of three or by tap out to submission. Only one wrestler from each team is allowed in the ring at a time. The other (s) wait on the apron outside the ropes. Interference from a team member will not end the match in a disqualification. That wrestler will be escorted back to his/her corner.
Texas Tornado Match: This is the standard tag team match. Both members of each team can be in the ring at the same time. You win by scoring a pin fall, submission (Both of which needs to be in the ring.), or count out. Only one member has to be beat for the team to lose.
The Ultimate X match: An X formed with ropes is placed on top of the ring. Similarly to the Ladder match, a championship belt or some other reward is then placed in the center of the X. The winner is the first person to take possession of the object.
Three stages of Hell: You have 3 different match types, consecutively, (example - Standard, Ring buster, TLC)
Three Way Dance: Another three way match, this time with the loser of a fall being eliminated from competition. The last wrestler remaining is victorious
Triangle match: A three way one fall tag match wherein the one of the competitors must remain outside the ring to await a tag from one of the other combatants before replacing him in the ring. Being tagged out is a serious disadvantage as you cannot win from this position.
Triple threat match: This is a one fall match where three wrestlers fight instead of two. The winner of this match is the first wrestler to get a pin fall or submission.
X-Cage: A brutal X- Division Match which takes place in Three Cages, You must beat your Opposition in each side ring in order advance to the Center Ring that contain's The X-Divison Title. From this point on the normal rules of a Ultimate-X match applies.
Triple Hell in a Cell: In this Match their are three Cells one on top of eachother the first is the lower cell this is a normal hell in a cell setup the second is on top this holds a few miscellanious weapons and a rope ladder to get into the third in the third is more weapons and each cell is smaller then the last. the object is to climb to the very top of the last cell and be the first to grab the belt or whatever is hanging. their are No DQ and No countout's and yes No Pinfalls
World War 3 Match: Every single superstar in the entire federation fights, eliminations occur by pin fall or submission. No DQ.
