I'm interested in a lot of different things. My favorite thing in the whole world would probably be playing video games. I spend countless hours playing some sort of game. I know it's not a good thing and I'm actually not that proud of it. I suppose my yearning to be entertained is stronger than my will to be productive.
I really love playing my guitar. Actually, I don't really like playing my guitar, it's get's annoying (atleast my acoustic one), but I love playing the Cort at my church. That and my electric one at my church, but right now it needs to strings I haven't been able to play it for the last couple of months. It makes me want to cry...
Now that I think about it I'm not that physical I suppose. I used to really like skateboarding, but I guess I grew out of it and well I never got that good. So really I just gave up, lol. I enjoy playing football and stuff, but I'm not the kind of guy who says, "Hey, let's go shoot some hoops." or "Let's through around the ol'pig skin for awhile." During my free time I usually look for a guitar to play or a tv to watch... Yeah... I'm fat because of it. But I really do enjoy weight lifting, but I haven't done that in while cause I don't have a gym membership or anything.
God is calling me into the ministry and I believe it's looking like Youth Ministry. Right now I'm the youth guy of Robert Gray Baptist Church. I don't really want to say Youth Pastor, because I just feel weird about it. I work with a great team there, without Aaron and Jessica I don't think we'd be where we're at with the youth group. I'm also very proud of the individuals that have stepped up to the plate and are now growing in the walk with Christ.
If I grow up, along side with youth ministry, I would love to be involved with music. I love music, well atleast the music that I listen to. To me, music is a powerful thing and it can change lives and that's something I want to be a part of.
I generally listen to rock music. My all time favorite band is Switchfoot. I connect with they're music at an insane level. Switchfoot, Relient K and Audio Adrenaline are probably to responsible for the growth I've gone through in Christ. Well them and my heroes.
My heroes in life are a big part of me. My biggest hero in life is probably Pastor Ken Bjorge, he's about 6'4" and like 250lbs. His hands could crush a man's skull... which is something I kinda want to see... (I know, I'm sick)
But the person who's probably impacted my life the greatest is Joe Rice. It's probably safe to say, that HE without a shadow of a doubt is my best friend. I love that guy, if you don't know him, you should.
Another hero of mine is Chris Vasilas. He's challenged me so much. And he's always been a great source of encouragement. And he's kids are great too.
Umm... okay that's all I can think of right now. I'm getting kinda tired.
