She is leaving on a walkway.
She is leaving me in disarray.
In the absence of a place to be
She stands there looking back at me
Hesitates, and then turns away.
She'll change so suddenly.
Yeah, but she's alright with me.

Ruby let Paul suck on her bottom lip for a while before she slowly pulled away and tucked her hair behind her ear. “Goodnight Paul,” she smiled.

“Alright, alright,” he defeatedly said moving her hair behind her shoulder. “I’ll give you a call. Or come by. I’ll suprise you.”

“Great,” she smiled turning her doorknob. “Bye.”

“Bye,” he said pushing the down button for the elevator.

She shut the door and leaned up against it sighing heavily. “Yuck,” she said kicking off her shoes and falling onto the bed. She rolled over and picked up the phone to call Kathryn who lived down the hall. “Hey, it’s Ruby.”

“Shhh,” Belinda hushed unbuttoning Zac’s cargo shorts. “It’s gonna be okay,” she whispered.

Zac couldn’t think. He couldn’t even feel his lips. He closed his eyes and laid back on the pillows rubbing his hands up and down his face while his mind clouded with everything that surrounded him.

“God, you’re bigger than Taylor,” she said sliding her hand beneath the waistband of Zac’s boxer shorts.

“Huh?”

“Nothing,” she smiled. “Just lay back.” She lifted his t-shirt and placed her lips on his stomach. “There ya go,” she smiled when he started to grow hard beneath her hand.

Zac let out a small moan and shifted on the bed. He pushed back the thought that all this was wrong. But what the hell? He was 16, who cares?

“How old was he?” Kathryn asked filing her nails.

Ruby pulled her knees up to her chest as she sat against the wall on Kathryn’s bed. “16.”

Kathryn’s eyes widened. “16? Girl, it is time to move on. I mean, come on. He’s got two more years of high school.”

“I know,” Ruby sighed. “But he’s a great guy.”

“What about Paul? How was the date?”

“Ew, you mean Palm Pilot Paul?” Ruby asked looking over at her.

Kathryn laughed. “I hate those things.”

“Yeah, he answered his cell phone at dinner too.”

“Oh that’s wrong. I guess that’s what you get for dating a Wall Street intern,” Kathryn reasoned.

“Mm,” Zac moaned and propped himself upon his elbows so he could watch Belinda’s head bob up and down. He wished he’d hurry up and come already so she’d finish. “Ow,” he said, his eyes shooting open.

“Oh, sorry,” Belinda said pulling away. “Did I bite you?”

“Just watch your teeth,” Zac mumbled laying back and throwing his arm across his eyes.

“You know, I should just forget about it. I’m gonna call Brian tomorrow and see if he wants to go to lunch,” Ruby decided.

“Sounds good to me. Plenty of guys in the sea,” Kathryn told her.

“Did you like that?” Belinda asked sliding next to Zac.

“Yeah, thanks,” he said situating his boxers and standing up to pull on his shorts. “Um, I’m gonna go back out and get another drink.”

“Alright,” she said standing up to follow him out.
