She let out a tiny moan with the feeling of his tongue finding hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he sucked on her bottom lip. It was then when she realized that three days without kissing Zac was way too long.

“Mm,” Zac slowly pulled away keeping his face right in front of hers. “You’re all wet.”

Ruby smiled. “Mm hmm,” she leaned back in pressing her lips against his.

“I mean,” Zac laughed pulling away again. “Your clothes.”

“Oh,” she looked down at herself. “We’ll just take them off,” she smiled.

Zac pulled her against him and kissed her again. They slowly fell onto their sides on the floor. Ruby trapped his body with her leg and ran her hand up the front of his t-shirt.

“Wait, wait,” Zac said pulling away. “Not in Taylor’s room. That’s weird.”

“Okay,” she laughed and stood up with him.

“Let’s go de-virginize my bed,” he said taking her hand leading her out of the room.

“Zac,” a small voice called from the staircase.

“No,” Zac closed his eyes and mentally cursed his younger brother for his bad timing. “What Mac?”

“I’m up,” he said.

“Well, get back in Mom and Dads bed and watch a movie,” Zac said leaning over the railing that overlooked the first floor.

“But I already watched The Lion King,” Mac explained.

“Aww,” Ruby joined Zac at the top of the stairs. “He wants to play.”

“So do I,” Zac looked at her.

“Let’s play Sorry,” Mac said.

Zac sighed heavily and looked at Ruby. “Alright. Go set it up in the kitchen and we’ll be down in a second.”

“Okay,” he bounded down the rest of the stairs and into the kitchen.

“Do you have clothes I could change into?” Ruby asked following Zac into his room.

“Sure.” He opened one of his drawers and pulled out a pair of green scrubs that Isaac had given him from the hospital and a blue t-shirt from Ron Jon surf shop. “Here ya go.”

“Thanks,” she said lifting the tank top from her body.

“Ruby, this weekend I have to go to Oklahoma City for this Real Estate convention thing. So you need to make me a list of things to get at the grocery store,” Ruby mother said as they sat at the dinner table Friday night.

“All weekend?” Ruby asked after swallowing a mouthful of mashed potatoes.

“Yeah, they’re paying for a hotel room and everything. I’m gonna leave tomorrow morning and I’ll be back Sunday night.

“Alright,” Ruby looked down at her plate knowing exactly who she was gonna call first.
