About V-Day
- V-Day is a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. Eve Ensler began the V-Day movement in 1998 after the success of her award-winning play The Vagina Monologues. Eve Ensler has declared February 14th as V-Day. Every year around V-Day, Eve Ensler allows college campuses world-wide to organize a local V-Day where students can perform her Vagina Monologues to raise money for the spotlight campaign. The spotlight campaign this year is "Women in Conflict Zones," which addresses the issue of women and girls who are effected by war.
