IPW Hardcore Wrestling/NWA Florida

The New Agenda Results

August 2nd

Florida WrestlePlex

St. Petersburg, FL

NWA Florida Heavyweight Champion Danny Doring pinned Michael Shane. Apparently there was a huge miscommunication with ref Jim Bragg and both wrestlers as Shane first DDT'd and then stretched the hell out the ref in a submission leg lock that looked like he was trying to break the leg of the ref and caused a major uproar backstage. There is major heat on Shane as that conduct isn't condoned in IPW and most in the back were defending the ref saying he made a mistake and everybody blows a spot eventually.

NWA Florida Tag Team Champions The Shane Brothers w/ Hardcore Giant Ron Niemi beat Scoot Andrews and Mike Sullivan via DQ due to interference by the IPW Tag Team Champions the Strong Brothers when they attacked Mike and Todd Shane with chairs. Scoot and Sullivan were furious and immediately challenged The Strongs to a title match which was accepted for the next show on 8/17. This match will be a front runner for Match of the Year in IPW and the tape is worth getting just to see this match. Prior to the match Niemi "congratulated Scoot Andrews for getting his big break with NWA TNA and that if history is any indication they will more than likely change his name to either Reverend Al Sharpton Jr. or Malcolm X-Treme. Niemi then went on to tear apart NWA TNA lackey Jeremy Borash for his insulting comments directed at himself, IPW and The Shane Brothers in an interview posted on 1Wrestling.com. Ron said "I would take it personally but how in the hell can you take somebody serious who considers living in the basement of Casa Kanyon with 2 other lackeys like Tony Mamaluke and Jeremy Lopez paying his dues". Niemi made it clear that while his total disdain for NWA TNA has centered on one thing and that was their total disregard for the talent of the Shane Brothers and instead deciding to stick them in a career killing gimmick, his focus will now turn to Borash and anybody from their office who decides they want to take potshots at the best tag team on the indies today. Also mentioned in the promo was the fact that it seems that the NWA TNA's office is more interested in the roster consisting of 120 pound children wearing street clothes from Wildside instead of looking at groups like IPW with REAL WRESTLERS for their talent.

IPW Heavyweight Champion Agent Steele w/ Tiffany retained his title defeating Axis w/ Lennox and Fidel Sierra w/ Fantasy to retain the title after Cuban accidentally hit Axis with the flagpole while the refs back was turned, which enabled Agent Steele to dropkick Sierra out of the ring and steal the pinfall on AXIS.

Naphtali defeated Justice to win the Florida Unified Cruiserweight Title (IPW and NWA Florida) in an incredible match. Justice is known for ducking kicks by going to his back, balling up, and kipping up, and had done this earlier in the match. Late into it, Naphtali faked a roundhouse kick, Justice went to his back and balled up, but couldn't kip up, as Naphtali sat his leg on top of Justice, which enabled him to get a quick three count before Justice could kick out

Pat McGroin w/ Pat Powers defeated Hack Myers via pinfall when Powers tripped Hack at ringside and he stumbled into a DDT

Frankie Capone w/ Cannon and Rico Casanova went to a no-contest after interference by Jet Jaguar who wildly attacked Capone. In a weird twist Rico then joined forces with Capone and Cannon and viciously attacked Jaguar leaving him laying.

Don Juan Descant cut a promo complaining about the horrible matches he gets booked in with IPW and that no matter what he does he can't get an ounce of respect from the office. This brought out Devin Nash and referee "The Mullet" Richie Rich who have both been feuding with Desanto. After a heated argument over who has been booked worse in IPW Desanto challenged both Nash and Rich to a match where he puts his career on the line against the hair or the Mullet and Nash which they both accepted. Nash then went to shake the hand of Desanto who instead tossed the chair he was holding to Richie Rich which allowed Nash to turn and punch the chair straight into the face of the ref leaving him for dead.

Prime Evil w/The Hardcore Princess and Deathrow Jethro defeated Kubiak, Concession Boy and Chaos to capture the IPW Hardcore Title when he pinned Kubiak in a brutal match. After Concession Boy and Chaos brawled to the back Prime Evil and Deathrow launched a sick attack on Kubiak hitting him with several wicked chair shots to the knee trying to reinjure Kubiak who has a history of knee problems. Finally Prime Evil locked on the Boston Crab and not only winning the IPW Hardcore Title but becoming the first wrestler to ever make Kubiak tapout. Chaos finally hit the ring and cleared the ring before helping Kubiak to the back solidifying their new alliance.

Hawk from MTV Tough Enough 2 then challenged anyone in the dressing room and stated how he is better than anyone in the back and even put his IPW career on the line to prove his point. Former IPW Champion Billy Fives came to the ring and literally destroyed and embarrassed Hawk in one minute, making him tap out to a triangle chokehold. Hawk is done with IPW Hardcore Wrestling and the fans let him know how they felt with the ever popular "Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey Good Bye!"

IPW TV Champion Rod Steel retained his title pinning former NWA World Tag Team Champion Vito Denucci. Vito set Rod up for a superplex but Rod blocked the move and hit Denucci with a sit out powerbomb and pinned him with 2 handfuls of tights.

Mr. 630 Jerrelle Clark won a 3 Way Dance beating Kamikaze and Sabunim w/ Ipuna after Clark hit the unreal 630 on Kamikaze for the pinfall

IPW Tag Team Champions The Strongs Brothers beat The Kingpinz by pinfall to retain their titles. Sedrick got hit with a huge spinebuster by Price who then turned it into a Boston Crab and Schaffe came off the top with a leg drop. Roderick then broke up the pin and ended up getting the bowling ball to the nuts. Schaffe picked Sedrick up and held him for Price to jump off the rope and hit him with a chair. Sedrick low blowed Schaffe and Price hit Schaffe with the chair when Sedrick moved out of the way, Roderick seized the opportunity and up hit Price in the head with the belt enabling Sedrick to score the pin.

ShortBus (Corky and Special ED) and Mark Zout beat Comic Book Guy Anderson, James Hendrix and King Kong Rumble. Corky powerbombed his own partner Special ED onto Comic Book Guy Anderson and Zout Pedigree'd Rumble for the win. Of course Rumble demanded and received a 5 count when pinned as 3 simply isn't enough to beat him.
