In the year 2484, intergalactic
travel is in its baby stages. Only four planets in the universe are inhabited by
humans. An expedition is launched to a planet called Raylo in hopes of it being
inhabitable. As the ship nears the planet, strange things start to happen. The
ship shakes and rumbles. The computers tell
the crew that everything is in perfect order. What's happening? Since the
shaking and rumbling doesn't seem to be causing much harm, no serious action is
taken. In fact, the captain thinks this is a developing mutiny. The ship shakes
and rumbles more. Things are starting to catch fire. The captain hurries to the
head officer's summon, then backstabbingly flees from the ship. As he is making
his escape, he is attacked by a beast. These weren't uncommon; some crazy
individuals bred vicious monsters for shows and other sources of entertainment.
The captain forces his way through and makes his escape. After he is gone, the
ship explodes. What just happened?
Ten years later, the human race is in chaos. Everyone is divided over such an
event, partially because the captain of the ship became head of the universal
government (referred to as the Federation). All the commoners are thinking,
"Aliens, no doubt." The Federation obviously thinks so; they are trying to
launch an attack on Raylo.
And a small group called the Interplanetary Peace Organization (IPO) is
developing. They also believe that the ship was attacked by a strange life form,
but they feel that the creatures were only trying to defend themselves.
The IPO despises the Federation. Its leader, Bane is trying to make the universe
a very peaceful place. However, something is troubling him... But not even he
knows what. What drove him to start the IPO? Is there reason to be...afraid of
the enigma?
