The Joshua Project's style of music is hard to define ranging from acoustic modern praise to punk rock mixed with 80's metal guitar riffs. They throw all of it together into something you just have to check out yourself to believe it. The Joshua Project started out as Joe Stein and Mike Key in late 2001. Before The Joshua Project Joe was the lead vocalist and guitarist for the now disbanded 5 Star Joy. He was also in The Trendys and Steadfast previously. Mike before The Joshua Project was in The Trendies and Klimate. Joe and Mike finally got their act together after just playing around together and decided to make the deal concrete and Mike recruited the brothers Huie from his church, Landon on bass and Loren on drums. Then the line-up was complete. And the rest is a mystery...
