Himalayas formed in Nottingham, England as a guitar based Rock band with original material in January 2006.
Influences include, to name few, Mudhoney, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Afghan Whigs and Nirvana.
We also have a myspace site which we have spent more time on at the moment, see links below.

Its been a slow start this year for us getting to grips with our material but things are starting to come together now.
We played our first show at the Nottingham Carnival in September and followed it up with a gig at the Social at the begining of October.
We have some music for you to hear on our myspace page these are only demo versions of these songs. We hope to get some more gigs towards the end of the year in the Nottingham area and will be starting to record our album "High" in December.
