The Children's Crusade started as a one man powerviolence/fastcore band from Santa Cruz, California. My name is Dr. Fred Avila and I used a drum machine (actually I used a broke ass playstation with pink dots on it and the MTV Music Generator video game) to record the first demo. 050805- Ah yes. The cogs are turning. It's been a while since the last update. I'll start with the biggest news... The Children's Crusade is playing it's first show. I still haven't found a full time drummer so Bert from Of Asian Descent (drums) and DeadEyedStare (vocals) will be filling in for shows until I find someone in the Santa Cruz area. In other news I've recorded drums and guitar for another song that will be on the demo. It's fast. I'm also in the process of expanding the CD trade list to include vinyl, tapes, and demos as well as CD's. The new (much larger) list should be up in the next few days so yeah. Peace ya later.



031505- Sup foo'. Guitar and drums for four songs are done. I'm still not sure how I'm gonna record the bass 'n vocals. I was planning on going to Ferrignosound in Stockton but Zac's digital recorder broke so I think I may have to splurge and buy a 4 track that works. I put lyrics up. They are for the four songs that I have so far. I think I'm going to put two more songs on the demo.



022105- So I've started recording the first demo tape/CD-R and working on the cover(s). So far I have guitar and drums for 3 songs. It's taking a very long time 'cause I don't have much free time and I'm lazy as a turd. The title is 'gonna be "Demo Numero Uno".

In other news, my mom turned 47 on the 19th. Yay for her! One last thing... I put a list of just about all of my CD's on the site. I'd like to get more involved in CD-R/demo trading and encourage everyone else to do so as well. If you would like to trade please email me. The address is at the bottom of the page.
