I wonder why they chose the name FA:GE. The first time I saw the FA:GE store in the Citylink Mall, I wanted to burst out laughing.
No, it had nothing to do with their clothes. (In fact, they have quite a good collection there as far as I could tell.) My amusement was derived from the rather curious name, mainly because in my head it read as 'fah-ker' (when read as mandarin phonetics - hanyu pinyin) and thus sounded remarkably like a frequently-used moniker/profanity bestowed upon people you either really love or really hate.
That aside, I haven't really got much to say about the store. I haven't even really gone in to have a proper look. But next time you're in the area, check it out. At the very least, you'll get a few laughs imagining people asking, 'Is this 'fah-ker'?'
