Sounds like I have a brain the size of a blimp, doesn't it? In actual fact, the above is merely an automatically generated bunch of intellectual-sounding crap. The Market-O-Matic (1.0) is the brainchild of Curt's Brain (32.5), designed specifically for those "Tired of racking [their] brain trying to squeeze out yet another artist's statement extolling the unique virtues of [their] latest net.art joint?" with the need for "pimping [themselves] to the self-referential digital arts community".
The genius of the Market-O-Matic is its simplicity. It is so easy to use, even a monkey with a basic knowledge of nouns and adjectives could churn out something vaguely intelligent. (Not to say, of course, that monkeys are not already naturally intelligent creatures.)
By simply selecting words from a series of drop-down lists, and typing random adjectives and nouns at intervals, you arrive at the end of the page feeling as fresh and relaxed as when you started. To obtain your 'mini-essay', all you have to do is hit the 'Crank Out The Crap' button at the bottom, and voila! One fresh piece of academic-literary bullshit pops up, in a new window, just for you!
