THE PRODUCERS
We are Ray and Migdalia Etheridge, a husband-and-wife team who produce micro-budget movies as a hobby. "Some people collect things...we make movies". We make these films simply because we enjoy making them. Frankly, it's not about money, and in fact none of our films has ever made a profit. It's all for the fun of making movies. Our films are shot at our home in Palm Bay, Florida. Ray is the writer/director/technical person, who handles the shooting and editing. Migdalia handles the administrative end, and functions as our team's Producer/Assistant Director/Script Supervisor/and Makeup Artist. She also writes a song for each of their films, which may be heard under the film's end credits. For "Stoned Dead", she wrote the ballad of Don and Ed..."Dead Or Alive".
OUR PROJECTS
We have completed several micro-budget feature films. "Micro-budget" is a term often used to describe projects that are filmed with little, or no budget. The movies are shot on Mini-DV, with a "film look" added during the editing process. Filming is done on weekends over a 6 to 8 week period.
"DEAD OR ALIVE"
From the motion picture STONED DEAD.
Lyrics by Migdalia S. Etheridge
It's also the story
Bring them back home
Dead or Alive,
The two lone detectives
They have been seen
Dead or Alive,
With good news and bad news
Two bodies are back.
Dead or Alive,
Music by Ken Lamison
Sung by Sharyn Vinci
This is the story
of two missionaries,
Out of the country,
lost on a mission.
of two detectives,
Hired on commission,
sent on a mission.
the detectives were told,
Bring back two bodies,
or bring back two souls.
bring bodies right back,
Dead or Alive,
bring bodies, get cash.
set out on their mission,
Hoping to find
holy men for commission.
in very strange places.
Have made some mistakes,
but found the right faces.
bring bodies right back.
Dead or Alive,
bring bodies, get cash.
the story will end.
Detectives are happy.
There's luck in the end.
Two dead, none alive.
But true to their contract,
detectives get cash.
Bring bodies right back.
Dead or Alive,
brought bodies, got cash.
