word,

chris

02.25.03 i feel bad for not writing anything in so long. well, i wrote 2.. or 3.... or 4 songs: artificial me, everything, going blind, and "bent down" (tentative name.) as far as the site goes, sorry. i'll get it up sometime. it's been a busy time.

brantley's battle is march 28th... like... 2 and a half weeks. make plans for it, it's gonna be sweet.

i hope you all are doing well. keep praying, even if it's hard. God's still there.

bless and be blessed,

dan

02.25.03 well chaps and chappettes, slippery pete is in lake brantley's battle of the bands! after 6 years of trying, i am finally gonna get to be in it! yeah!!!

this weekend was the tally forth, sally ho tour to tallahassee. it was pretty sweet. 2:PLY played a dinner show. later on the good guys' club played, followed by rory and triple strike, and then station fifteen concluded. i realized just how much i need to start practicing.

today i gave a speech on being a Christian singer/songwriter. it was fun. i got to jump on a desk.

God pulled through today with an abundance of green lights.

oh, slippery pete is on mp3.com. listen to someday. if those vocals sound familiar (and even if they don't,) it's because it's me. sweet, eh?

well, that's all for now. oh, one more thing:
thanks to amy, renee, theresa, and lauren for letting us crash on the floor. the tally forth, sally ho tour wouldn't have been a success without you!

bless and be blessed,

dan

02.17.03 hey there everyone, it's been a week or so since we last chatted. some noteworthy things have happened.

firstly, ninja chris put up slippery pete's cover of "under the sun" by the swift. check it out below.

second, the outdoor meeting for cc4C went sweetly. there were plenty of receptive ears, the weather was unbelievably perfect, and no hecklers. thanks God!

third, i have added new lyrics to the lyrics section. i also am almost done with a new song entitled "artificial me" which ninja chris says he likes.

fourth, i'm going on tour to tallahassee. actually i'm going to see lauren, but i'll bring my guitar and we'll call it a tour stop. we'll call it the "tally-forth and sally-ho tour". i'll be touring with "the good guys' club." it's gonna rock.

fifthly... der... that's about it. so, read your bible, huck. anybody want a station fifteen cookie cutter? that'd be sweet.

bless and be blessed,

dan

02.13.03 Now, it's my turn. Here it is, what you've all been waiting for. That's right, Slippery Pete covering the Swift's "Under the Sun" Take a listen, I think you'll be pleseantly surprised. Which is a whole lot better than being pheseantly surprised. Those things are scary.

Chris Hall and his fancy ninja web master action

02.11.03 let's try this again.

i left off with the slippery pete demo. i think that we will have the cd tonight thanks to jason kellie helping us out. if the mixes are good then i'll put something up. if not, i'll still put something up, clips if nothing else.

um... what else? i'm really tired and can't think straight. . . oh, got a good one - this thursday we (campus crusade for Christ @ valencia east) are moving our meeting outside to try and witness to others. today we had an amazing prayer time that was like 80% praise and 20% prayer, so 100% worship. it was sweet, but like.. waaaay sweet. pray for the meeting to go well and for people to see that they need Jesus. amen?

blah. my sinus cavity is itchy and i can't scratch it. oh, i got a haircut.

well, that's pretty much it. i'm soo tired. i have to write a paper on blaise pascal. yeah, that's what i said.

bless and be blessed,

dan

02.10.03 heeey. it's time for the update.

in case you didn't know, you can now access this site from stationfifteen.com! i know, it's about time. right now all of the links just go back to this site. i haven't had the opportunity to make a whole new design, but it's on my list of projects.

speaking of projects, slippery pete finished it's battle of the bands demo.... uh oh, i'm late for a meeting... finish this later.

very late,

dan

02.03.03 isn't it a beautiful monday morning? i'm assuming it is, although i haven't been outside yet today.

so, what about that space shuttle columbia? dang, that was some pretty horrible news. the best part out of it was that president bush quoted from isaiah during his speech to the country, and did a darn good job of it. well, i don't know if that was the best part, or if there was really any good, but if you could pray for those families, that'd be awesome. pray for comfort, peace, and the ability to move on.

on the home-front, i'm working on a new design for lifeteenorlando.com, and trying an idea for stationfifteen.com. i made one, but then it looks a lot like the new (lto).com, so we'll see what happens.

musically, i haven't written much new stuff. slippery pete (the band i'm in) has recorded 3 songs for our battle of the bands demo - "karma police" by radiohead, "under the sun" by the swift, and "the song about nothing" by slippery pete. i'll probably post up our "under the sun" cover, i think it's sweet. right now there is a deadline on that demo, which is next week, so that takes priority over station fifteen stuff.

i think i've back-burnered myself. wierd. well, i guess somebody's got to.

ok, i have to go do some other updating and such, so all of you have a wonderful day. no last notes today, there's just not enough going on.

worship Him,

dan ps- why didn't anybody tell me that all my updates thus far have been dated '02?
