SMOKIN' TONGUES
Smokin' Tongues, formed in November of 2000, bring
an ecclectic blend of rock, punk, funk, disco, british invasion, motown,
and new wave to the rock underground. The Tongues, David Henry (guitar), Marc Marsella (guitar),
Greg Scott (drums) and Kevin Van Amburgh (bass, vocals) released the album
Freezeon
the independent label Yes of Course Records (available in full at Napster.com.)
An impressive, original disc for the new generation, the Smokin' Tongues
have introduced loud rock to the dance crowd, and phat beats for the metalheads.
A band with an infinite shelf life, the Tongues truly hail from the gutters
of N.Y.C., with titles such as Hole in the Wall,
Lose
that Girl, Tie a Rope and
Lie,
the Tongues represent a culture that has previously been ignored by MTV
and mainstream radio. The time is now. This is the new revolution.
Smokin' Tongues style.
