The concept of the Blu Tarpon was inspired by a need to create an affordable dining experience with the ambiance of an upper crust establishment. Believe it or not, we originally started off as a seafood cafeteria. At that time our best seller was our famous Conch Fritters and our Salmon sandwiches. Eventually, our steady growth in sales attracted a few investors in the Alaskan Fishing Market. Soon our head establishment in Miami Beach was under construction.   By 1998, 3 of our current locations were up and running. Though the thought of national expansion is still in the planning phase, I kind of enjoy the fact that someone would ahve to come to Miami to enjoy thr Blu Tarpon experience. It kind of makes the trip more worth while. |
