"Stringing up a Sound for the World..."

Lee Marshall is an award-winning, veteran Canadian radio/TV announcer who has been in broadcasting since 1971.

Aware that the people of the West Indies, particularly Jamaica, were completely under-served by radio in North America, Lee set about creating ReggaePlus Radio on the Internet.

Lee has guested on CBC Barbados, JBC, KLAS FM and RJR Jamaica along with CHRY and CIUT in Toronto. A major fan of West Indian music from ever since, he considers Jamaica his home-away-from-home.

Lee Marshall has finally realized his goal - to "play out" for the world with ReggaePlus Radio on the Internet.

Lee Marshall's personal note:

I've worked at various radio stations across Canada for much of the past 30 years. I got into radio for just ONE reason. I LOVE MUSIC!

MUSIC...ReggaePlus Radio On The Internet is all about the music. In our little corner of the world, we have some great Reggae shows on a small number of radio stations. The problem is that they are weekly shows. What do we listen to in between? I gather that this is a problem, all over the world, for people who love Reggae and the other styles of music that tie-in to our format. What I am attempting to do is fill the void for you.

Another problem exists for the musicians in Canada who play these styles of music -- EXPOSURE. There is never enough. ReggaePlus Radio On The Internet includes the music of these GREAT Canadian artists, many of whom have arrived here from the 4-corners of the world. They deserve to be heard. They've earned their place on the airwaves.

After hosting 'mainstream' radio shows, like The Legendary Lunch, The Quiet Storm, Reggae Plus and The Shake, Rattle and Roll Café, after "playing out" in Jamaica and closer to home, and after having hosted ReggaePlus Radio for some 2 years here on the internet, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the DEMAND for these 2 radio formats is out there.
"MUSIC!" Sit back, relax, and ENJOY.
