It is with the deepest of regret that I must inform the loyal listeners of ReggaePlus Radio 2/The Quiet Storm, that RP2 has ceased broadcasting. The same is true of ReggaePlus Radio 3/Cool Oldies Plus. I want to thank the thousands and thousands of you for your listening support over the past year.
Recent legislation was passed in the U.S. requiring Internet Radio broadcasters to pay royalties to the various record companies through the RIAA. The increase in expense would be far too much for me to bear as ReggaePlus is a non-profit service provided first and foremost for the people of this world who love Reggae Music.
ReggaePlus Radio 1 will continue to broadcast 24 hours a day - 7 days a week AND with expanded programming. We invite you to join us here as our mission to fill the void left by non-visionary 'mainstream' radio and record companies who only care about the bottom line moves forward.

ReggaePlus Radio was officially launched at The Canadian Reggae Music Awards Show in Toronto, Canada on Sunday March 18, 2001.
