Real Talent: Any plans for any shows anytime soon where fans can catch you?

EmilyAnn: Not anytime soon unless something pops out of nowhere and I have to take it for opportunity and exposure and be a risk taker, but unless that then no where right now. I'm currently just working on my demo and getting contacts in the industry.

Real Talent: What are your current music projects?

EmilyAnn: Right now I'm working on my demo and indie cd. Ashley Mims is helping me with some guitar work.

Real Talent: What is your favorite song of yours to sing and your favorite cover song?

EmilyAnn: My favorite orginial is probably "What Do You See?" and "I Thought He Knew" since those are the most personal to me. My favorite cover's are "No One Else But You" from Wynonna Judd and "Can't Fight the Moonlight" from LeAnn Rimes. Her song "How Do I Live" I also love to cover.

Real Talent: What was the first concert you ever attended?

EmilyAnn: Hanson and Admiral Twin in 1997 at Lakewood Ampitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia.

Real Talent: If you could duet, tour, or work with one unsigned/upcoming act who would it be, what would you do, and why?

EmilyAnn: I would love to create a song with Mandy Ventrice. She's an amazing writer and producer with her partner Aaron. They're an awesome team and Mandy is someone I truly admire and have since 1999. She does such amazing work. I'd also love to work with Savannah Tillery, Karly Mattison, and Ashley Mims.

Real Talent: What is your favorite thing to do when you're having a lazy day?

EmilyAnn: I like to do internet, movies, snooze, read.

Real Talent: Would you want to be with a major or indie label? Why or why not?

EmilyAnn: I want to be with the best label for me. Someone who will let me be creative and do my own songs and can get my music out and do great promotion and knows the business and can direct me in the right place and have a lot of mentor's for me to learn from. I love learning about the business cause everything you learn helps you as an artist become one step ahead of the game.

Real Talent: What would be your dream place to perform at?

EmilyAnn: Half-time show for Detriot Lions game on Thanksgiving. I love the Lions so that'd be awesome. Also anywhere warm!

Real Talent: What do you think of downloading music? Do you think it makes a difference in today's buying music and supporting artist's or not?

EmilyAnn: I think if it's something new you should get samples off sites like walmart.com where they sell the cd and listen to it and if you like it buy it and support the artist. If it's something really old like from the 80's then I'm not too sure with that. If it's a new undiscovered act then you should have music available for download cause that's how you get fans and people to know who you are. I'm kind of 50/50 with it all. The industry still seems to be making money, so unless an artist goes total bankrupt I don't think it's a huge deal yet. There are other ways they can make money from touring and selling merchandise. Why else do pop stars put out lipgloss/balm, school supplies, etc?

Real Talent: Do you like reality shows like "American Idol" and "Nashville Star?" Do you watch and if so, who did you want to win on "American Idol?" This is meant for this past season with Clay and Ruben.

EmilyAnn: I did watch both and am watching this season as well.Last season I was hoping for Clay since I love his wonderful voice. I'm glad he's having his success and still want to buy his cd. So far this season hasn't been too great but it makes great t.v. because I love seeing the total concieited people have reality slap them in the face. It's cool if you're really serious and let down then I feel bad but if they're so coincieted I laugh cause I don't like real concietited people.

Real Talent: What do you think of Simon Cowell and how he is with upcoming singers who audition?

EmilyAnn: I think it's good Simon is on the show and the way he is with people. If he wasn't and the show let some people go through he'd and they only be giving them false hope and make things worse for them on down the line. I'd personally would rather be disappointed at the beginning then on down the line. Some people think of Simon as being totally brutal, but sometimes people have big ego's and he has to be. I hate it when he does turn down someone and they beg for another chance, it's not like he's going to change his mind cause he heard you and the first impression is always the most important. That's sad though when people beg and keep going and don't listen and let their ego's get in the way. All you should do is just say thank you, walk away and have some pride left in you instead of making yourself look like an ass infront of music industry professionals and the public watching the show.

Real Talent: What do you think of some upcomers of today?

EmilyAnn: I think some of them do have a lot of talent, but there are others who don't. Some are just in it to be famous and you can sometimes tell, but sometimes it's harder on others to tell if they're really in it for fame or cause they really love to sing. But as long as you're happy then that's cool.

Real Talent: Out of the upcoming artist's out there today who do you think is the next Michael Jackson or Britney Spears?

EmilyAnn: I think the next Michael Jackson could be Justin Timberlake. He has some of the flair that Michael does with the fans and his music and all that. Only thing is Michael is always around and always popular, and with Justin he comes and goes with the music scene, so he needs to work on that and getting the popularity. I'm not really a fan of him but he's the only person that really sticks out at me. Another Britney Spears could be Cori Yarckin. She's cool and has a great voice and seems to be doing well and I could see her having the type of success Britney is. Not nessesarily be like Britney but just success-wise.

Real Talent: Justin Timberlake...do you think he's the next Michael Jackson?

EmilyAnn: Sure, I think if he keeps going and making music he could get close to it. Nobody could ever beat Michael though. Like I mentioned before, Justin needs to work on being around in the business 24/7 every day of the year and not disappear anywhere.

Real Talent: Do you have plans for an album or any new music anytime soon?

EmilyAnn:I'm working on my own music now, so hopefully around the spring time some stuff will be done.
