83 on the photography exam-B in the class. Tonight I'll be studying for the grossest exam I have to take-MATH! I'm living on Subway sandwhiches for the next couple days. mm! I've started a little bit of packing around the dorm so that I can leave ASAP on Thursday. Last night we had a Tornado scare so we spent about an hour and a half in total in the hall on the bottom floor in three different increments. I have several books lined up to read that I'm excited about. I'll probably start that this weekend...when i'm back in my bedroom! Whoo hoo!

to ponder:

I'm too distracted by exams to be too terribly inventive so amuse yourself with this from McSweeney's.

I've been going back through my journal archives trying to make them easier to navigate. (while distracting myself between doing things that actually need to be done) after reviewing susan's (i think i've spelled her name differently each time) paper she gave me four bags of popcorn - that's four meals my friends. i've now acquired the new malkmus cd, go me. math and photography to study for tonight. After watching several extra credit films as advised by my professor I should now have a firm A in my World Civ class. Huzzah! (ha)

to ponder:

Yahoo has various groups that you can join by invitation pertaining to any sort of random things. People are generally found based on the interests they've listed in their profile and I happened to list Secondhand Shopping. I've recently been invited to join a thiftstore fashion group that I've joined. I've been receiving about 8 posts a day and will sift through them to supply you with what I consider the most valuable things I learn over let's say-the next two weeks. Pretty damn exciting..I know.

began a little bit of packing today. after reviewing the testing times it appears i'll have to stay on campus until thursday. The good news is i have more time to study for each test though. It's terribly frustrating to have so many borderline classes where the final makes the difference. doing laundry and dishes today and hopefully some extra credit and that whole...studying business. mom called me to let me know i've been invited to a wedding in new jersey in june. the girl getting married is someone i haven't seen since i was like 7 but mom is really good friends with her mother and it would be a way to visit mom as well so i'll probably end up going. seems like i should put something of more substance in here but i'm afraid i'm dry today. i think i broke my camera, did i mention that?

Looks like an A in my graphic communications class and a B in my photography class. (As long as I get at least a 30 on my exam-keep your fingers crossed.) There are some baby bunnies that live in the bushes right outside of the dorms and they are sooooooooo incredibly cute..doing there little nose twitchen clover chompin bunny stuff. Speaking of cute, have you seen that home depot or lowes or some hardware store commercial with the little mouse that is painting his little mouse hole house???? It's great. I've actually been eating well for the past two days which is nice. Went out to applebees after the concert last night and then had a little sub party in Civ today so i had a veggie sub. Yum! It isn't Thai Cucumber Salad or Saag Chooley but it sure beats the crud they're serving up in the cafeteria.

to ponder:

The Nickel Creek concert was enjoyable. After the last song Susanne and i dashed out though rather than stay for the encour because we were starving and tired. My favorite songs were the scottish one where they used Robert Burn's poem as lyrics and the covers of Spit on a Stranger (Pavement) and National Anthem (Radiohead). They're obviously awesome muscians but my advice to the band: Play more, talk less.

I'm still entertained by the things i find to collect for my Found book. Yes, you think it strange, I know..

new journal page. final photography assignment ready to turn in..final graphic communications test tomorrow...and i used up the last of my photography paper today. In math today my professor made a powerpoint presentation to explain matrix. He tried to illustrate matrix through the explanation of JPG's, getting into lessy and lossless and such. Most of it michael had already explained to me but he also mentioned something about wavelets that are suppose to be some new JPG format that are going to be on all the OS's. My professor even added little clips from the matrix to the presentation..i found it hilarious.

to ponder:

"In June, each of the past four years, hundreds of artists and media makers have convened in Bowling Green, Ohio, to celebrate each other's work and to strengthen alliances. What started as a conference for zine writers and small presses has grown into a full weekend devoted to creators and supporters of independent radio, music, television, web, print, movies, and more. This year, the conference is focused on using independent media to change our world. If you know how to do that or you want to learn, you belong at the Allied Media Conference."

I'd love to go to the 2003 Allied Media conference in Bowling Green, Ohio June 13-15 (Awww..on my birthday) but I'm not sure how. We should go!
