Muggle Studies: Meteorology
Class Information
Welcome and thank you for having interest in my class. Meteorology is the study of weather. In my class you will be taught about the differences in natural disasters as well as just what exactly meteorology is. Everywhere you go, weather follows and it is best to know how it works at least briefly so you be prepared for the good, the bad and definitely the ugliness that weather causes.
There will be one lesson per week for the entire term. For proper credit in this class I ask for three posts each lesson and I would like for you to fill out a form on your first post which is seen on the main class syllabus page but it isn't manditory. It will make grading go more smoothly for me and if things go more smoothly for me that means the more accurate grade you will get. The grading system at Hogwarts is based on a scale of OEAPDT, and anything A and above is considered passing. Anything P and below is failing. Class participation is 75% and the end of term exam is worth 25%. Good luck in my class.
