Mary-Kate sat at her desk in her swim suit which was covered by her robe and waited for her students to arrive. Once they had she stood up and walked in front of the class.
"Welcome back students, today we are going to be experiencing something called a Tsunami. A Tsunami is a wave or series of waves created by an earthquake, landslide, volcanic eruptions or even a meteorite impact. Tsunami effects range from unnoticeable to devastating. Now the word Tsunami comes from the Japanese language and it means harbour (Tsu) and wave (nami). Now if you will all come up here..."
Mary-Kate motioned for the students to come toward her and once everyone had done so, she swished her wand she then had in her hand while stating the spell she had a few classes earlier and everyone disappeared to a specific beach.
"you feel that? the earth shifted slightly. theres going to be a tsunami. we're right on time. great."
Mary-Kate said in an enthusiastic voice, she then flicked her wand and everyone started to hover up a bit.
"dont worry you all are protected by magic so just enjoy the show of what really happens"
About then the tsunami started to come toward the beach. It looked just like a wall of water coming toward them. Very powerful looking. The Tsunami came rushing toward the shoreline which seemed to be much larger since the water right before the tsunami started charging had fell back some.
"isn't this exciting? it looks like this wont be too bad though. just a small one compared to some of the mega tsunamis out there"
The wall of water crashed into the shoreline and completely drenched everyone then all was calm again.
"since its over you all can have some playtime on the beach before we head back" Mary-Kate smiled
15minutes later
"alright guys, lets head back shows over"
Mary-Kate flicked her wand and they set back down on the beach, then she swished her wand and spoke the spell and everyone disappeared back into the class room.
"great, you're all safe, a little wet but safe none the less" Mary-Kate laughed a bit
"alright for today's assignment before class is over i would like for you to write an essay (no more than two paragraphs no less than one) on how you felt during the tsunami hit. be completely honest. then turn it in at the end of class"
Mary-Kate sat down behind her desk and waited for the students to finish.
15minutes later
"alright, turn it in, class is dismissed"
